No offense but isn't it the same that you have done that you were suggesting not to do? Have you done a search to find that tells the same you wanted to tell? This board is filled with such conversation and if I was in my laptop then I could bring you lots of example posts.

There have been many discussions about this but maybe not that much about what the OP is saying (commitment). The problem... commitment is more like a goal than a solution. I can agree that it would be good to have people to be more committed to the forum but how do we achieve that? If the OP could post some ideas it can be a good topic. Just posting that we need people to be more committed is not very helpful.

Yes we have users who are sometimes over doing things to get attentions (sometimes it turns out funny) and stuffs but again we have users in the community who are doing silently that they were suppose to do.
If someone's work is rewardable (merit in this case ) then they will have it eventually.

Even if people are over reacting to get attention it is not bad as long as they are following the forum rules and not annoying anyone. Being funny is good most of the time as long as they do not hurt anyone feelings. As long as you are not solely running after the money and merits, you will be useful for the community.

Sometimes we do seem to end up going over the top with the do’s don’ts here. Eventually how one posts boils down to a combination of capacity (communication, research, knowledge), habits (style aligned to each person), objectives (if any), and time. That leads to a wide range of diverse approaches to posting, and as such reflects upon the forum, as do those traits probably reflect in a similar manner in real life.
And we also do learn everyday, using the knowledge of others and  recycling it to our own improvement, in every criticism there is always a fraction of good note to be gotten from it.

Sadly would agree here. Message is a little vague, i have no idea if this is language barrier or not clearly described.
Search feature is great here and vision is something people differ about.

Well pointed out maybe I missed it and some messages needs to be pressed on more often till everyone can get the vision correctly. If you make out time to share links to I would be very grateful so it would pass the message more effectively

Just a little close look and We can say that we have some problems on the forum, and we would be correct. This problem are not really technical, I have not be hindered by technical issues so far.

The problem I see is dreadful posting, sometimes I don't even get what the post serve as, it's that bad.

Doing a simple racking of my brain one reason for this is low commitment.
If you are committed to a course you do what is only beneficial to that course and if you have no commitment only selfish thoughts then you don't even care about what ever happens to that course.
Let's not also forget that there are always rewards for commitment, like recognition, acceptance, financial, and can make you stand out in what you do.

Be more committed to yourself, the forum and what ever is it you doing. "anything worth doing is worth doing well"
