The ones who are fearing that Bitcoins will end them in losses, let me clarify that not only Bitcoins but any type of investment have the fear of getting losses. So if you keep on fearing and don’t invest by taking risk then how the hell you will make money? Regarding the scams, it can’t be stopped to be honest. Scammers use all the possible methods to scam people, they use Bitcoins, sometimes credit cards and more. So the main thing is that, whoever is wise and got a broader perspective will definitely choose to invest in Bitcoins. At the end of the day we can’t force everyone.

Investing in Bitcoin is not about persuading anyone. I know we want everyone to adopt Bitcoin, but if others are skeptical, then let them learn about it because you'll just waste your time if their decision is not to invest in it. Also, most of the people right now who know about Bitcoin and want to invest don't have the capability of investing because their income is just enough.

Keep in mind that Bitcoin was made as a payment system for us to receive and send easily money, not as an investment, so the way you explain it is what really is Bitcoin, and then follow with it becoming an investment recently because of its price, but that is really the Bitcoin.

There are still aspects of Bitcoin's working principle and philosophy that are not widely understood. We can explain Bitcoin which is sometimes difficult to understand, especially because of the different terms involved, more closely with examples from everyday life. This way we can get people closer to Bitcoin and crypto markets. First of all, Bitcoin is definitely not a get rich quick scheme and was not created for that.

Bitcoin is easier to understand if we think of it as a store of value and an asset that will change payment systems. For example, if you have both gold and cash with you and the cashier tells you that you can pay for your shopping with both gold and cash. In this situation, i think no one would prefer to pay with gold. Because gold is a convenient tool for saving and storing the value of your savings. In this example, gold represents Bitcoin. Bitcoin is a reliable and stable asset that is less likely to lose its value in the future. In other words, Bitcoin is a tool to store the value of savings. With simple examples like this, we can explain Bitcoin to people who don't know about it without being boring.

Keep in mind that Bitcoin was made as a payment system for us to receive and send easily money, not as an investment, so the way you explain it is what really is Bitcoin, and then follow with it becoming an investment recently because of its price, but that is really the Bitcoin.

The need of most people today is profit, money always comes first, so there is nothing wrong with recommending bitcoin as an investment. That way it will be easier to attract people's attention faster. I bet you enter the market and invest in bitcoin also for profit. As for whether bitcoin is used as a means of payment or currency, that will mostly be discovered once we spend time learning about it.

But giving advice or recommending bitcoin to someone is a waste of time. I mean, if we want to convince others, if we want others to listen to us, it is best for us to be better than them, to have some achievements so that they can look at us and have more trust. You are someone with an income of $1k/month, you cannot give advice on getting rich to someone with an income of $10k/month, newbies make this mistake quite a lot.

Why is every newbie always want to be a superhero?

I want to convince people about Bitcoin, I want to teach people about Bitcoin, Bitcoin will solve poverty, Bitcoin save me and my country etc etc. In reality people don't give a shit about someone else problem, it's not their business, so if you don't want to invest in Bitcoin or you're always become poor, it's your own business.

Let's accept the fact every people are greedy and they only want do something when there's a benefit for them.

There are alot of reasons people fear investing in Bitcoin especially in my locality. These reasons are numerous ranging from fear of losses , scams , security issues and lots more .I got to understand this by asking a couple of persons what they knew about Bitcoin and if they had any intention of investing sonner . about 98% of them had heard about Bitcoin but only about 10% really understood what Bitcoin was . Of what I could understand I discovered that over 50% of them understood Bitcoin as a get Rich quick scheme which was why most of them thought of it as a scam because they had been scammed through their false idea of Bitcoin as a get Rich quick scheme.
The others which had idea about Bitcoin I discovered were  investors in the Bitcoin space.

This brought me into thinking how do we make people understand Bitcoin properly in order to prevent them from being scammed and end up disliking the crypto space. Is introducing them into Bitcoin talk enough ? If no what else more can we do easily to make them actually get the idea of Bitcoin.

Well investing in anything is a progressive thing. Day after day Week after week month after month year after year.

Crazy up side growth is a thing of the past for BTC.

But to save 10usd a week for 10 years is the more likely thing you need to convince a person to do.

Not that it is a scam but that a dca investment must be done.

It's true that there are a lot of people who think investing in BTC is a quick way to get rich, yes, that's because lots of people have become rich by investing in BTC, but usually people who don't know about BTC always think. investing in BTC is easy and according to him it is the way to invest in BTC. to get rich quickly, without thinking about the risks and struggles of a BTC investor before success. In my opinion, in this case we have to explain the risks and benefits of investing in BTC and so on.

You need to know that everyone has a different mindset and different responsiveness. So when you just tell people about Bitcoin, there will definitely be people who are curious and then look for information independently or ask you further questions, and there are also people who respond in a normal way, because they don't have any curiosity. Now for people who respond mediocrely, these people need to be given more understanding, because maybe their ability to grasp thoughts doesn't respond very quickly.

So in essence, if you want to spread bitcoin to your friends or relatives, my advice is that first you have to be an example for them. Because in my personal opinion, people will tend to be interested more quickly if they see live examples. Just like in bitcoin investment too, if you can be successful and successful with your bitcoin investment, I'm sure your friends or relatives will definitely have their own curiosity, and without having to bother telling them about bitcoin.

I told a guy where I live about bitcoin, and he told me the negatives of bitcoin, and he said bitcoin is a scam. I told him that Bitcoin can never be a scam because it has been used by people for a long time, and it has never gone down the path of scams. Rather, many people tried to make Bitcoin die many times, but it was not possible, rather Bitcoin came back again and again from that position. We all know that Bitcoin will not be a scam because we have faith in Bitcoin for hundreds of years and this Bitcoin will improve one day. I told my roommate the positives about Bitcoin, but he said that using Bitcoin is a crime in my country's government. And I also told him that the country's government also uses Bitcoin, and he just criminalized people for not using one and made Bitcoin illegal. So I tried to convince him a lot, but he answered me only one question using bitcoin is against the law, so he considers bitcoin scam. So I don't want to give him more knowledge about bitcoin, maybe he will use bitcoin one day and understand the positive aspects of bitcoin.

BitcoinTalk is not for everyone, it's mainly for people who are actually interested in bitcoin but at the same time, usually, they already know why bitcoin in great. If you talk with someone and they tell you that they think bitcoin is a scam just because "somebody told me that", just don't waste your time, it means they are hopeless because it takes 2 minutes to open Google and find out why bitcoin is not a scam.

What I mean is that you don't need to worry about people you don't know, you should equip yourself with good knowledge about bitcoin. Then you just need to educate your loved ones about bitcoin so they understand it well. From there, you encourage your loved ones to do the same thing you did with them, so that gradually everyone will have a proper understanding of bitcoin. Don't try to think of big ideas to help everyone at the same time, that's beyond our capabilities. If you really want to help people become more knowledgeable about bitcoin, start investing in your loved ones and people around you.

I think introducing them to Bitcointalk is enough because they'll get the right information from the forum, when introducing them you should make them understand that this isn't a place to look for money but a place to get information about bitcoin and other cryptocurrency that we should avoid because investing in them will be a waste of our money as they'll failed. Introducing them to bitcointalk will increase their knowledge on Bitcoin.

Many individual have the wrong idea on bitcoin and how we should be investing in it that's why alot of individual lose whenever the market dips because they don't understand how to invest. Bringing them to the forum will help informing them on what the industry is about.
Introducing people to the forum will make them get clear understanding about bitcoin. However it is common that people won't easily get into something that is much on digitization. At the beginning there need to be some attractive factor. For bitcoin it is the rise in the price of bitcoin and the volatility. Not everyone understands it in the right way. People who fear of the risk stay away whereas the one who understands it better takes the risk. So, majority of the users enter into cryptocurrency mainly for the purpose of getting rich. For some people it happens immediately and some it takes time. When it gets delayed the people who can't tolerate end up losing, and these people sometimes promote as if it is a scam. Right choice is to self analyse and understand through different sources available.

There are many things that can be done to prevent beginners who want to learn Bitcoin from falling into fraudulent schemes or experiencing losses because of their ignorance about how to invest in Bitcoin.

Initial education is certainly one of the important things to do first. When you find users without good initial education, they will make investments without any basis, and when they experience losses they will continue to blame bitcoin and think that bitcoin is a very detrimental asset.
Even though they themselves cannot understand how Bitcoin or crypto works.

You might also be able to do a case study about the use of Bitcoin, the benefits obtained, and how Bitcoin impacts the area where you live.
that way you will know how society treats Bitcoin.
You can also provide practical demonstrations of the use of Bitcoin how to make investments or purchases right and how to sell it.

and the last is awareness about the security of the wallet used to buy Bitcoin, because many are negligent about the security of their own wallets. Or use the Exchange as an initial place to buy bitcoin.
Crypto will be very risky if it is not regulated and you will lose everything if you don't have that security awareness.

This won't be easy, changing someone's mindset from not liking it to liking it is quite difficult. Especially if they have reasons that they consider strong to avoid it, coupled with various reports in the media about the negative impacts of Bitcoin. It cannot be denied that the media contribution to Bitcoin is quite high. But unfortunately, we will more often encounter various negative effects of Bitcoin reported in the media. So however, this will create a negative impression of Bitcoin from many people. And while we personally might find it very difficult to introduce Bitcoin and convince them of the true benefits of Bitcoin, because they will listen more to the media reporting than us people who are considered laymen or just ordinary people like them.

Stop worrying about what other people think of bitcoin as this is not really your problem, concentrate on what you can control and do, which is to save money and then invest some of that money on bitcoin, now this view may seem selfish, and it is, but at the same time I do not see the point of trying to clear the doubts other people may have about bitcoin, let them discover on their own and at their own rhythm the truth about bitcoin, even if this means it will take longer for them to learn the truth.

Just tell them first that Bitcoin isn't a scam, the scam are those people that have used Bitcoin for their scamming purposes because it is a means of transfer, a money and an asset.

Yes, there are many classifications that can be said for Bitcoin and that doesn't understood by many of them. And those that have been victimized by scammers that used BTC can give it a chance.

I think if properly explained on what Bitcoin really is, they'll get to see what are the differences of it from the typical scam that they've met and to the actuality of what really it is and that could change their minds.

Having to show some video and visual materials about explaining what Bitcoin is to dummies could help.

Before Bitcoin became widely known, most of the misconceptions about it were spread by the media, and some people began to paint it to be a bad investment as a result of their interactions with it, their mistakes in investing in it, and their lack of initial knowledge. As a result, they continue to perceive Bitcoin as a scam, a security risk, and a get-rich scheme that you mentioned.

It will take time to clarify the misconceptions surrounding bitcoin, therefore it's up to you and I to start by educating individuals who hold false beliefs about it on what they should know. For instance, if someone were to claim, "Bitcoin is a scam," you would quickly respond by outlining the reasons why he should take bitcoin as such.

Once you've done that, they won't think of bitcoin as a scam ever again. Even when people have incorrect views about bitcoin, he can assist in correcting them. By so doing, the right understanding of bitcoin will be spread and people will understand bitcoin better.

If you ever want to know if someone truly knows what bitcoin is or not, ask them what a blockchain is.  This for me has been sort of the ultimate was of "busting" people about their knowledge of bitcoin.
Legend,  thank for this tips,  indeed if you want to know the level of a person knowledge about Bitcoin/cryptocurrency you first ask them to define what blockchain is,  because ultimately anyone that understand what blockchain will definitely know what Bitcoin is in it true spirited.

This would be too technical for a beginner but a must-learn to a person who is into Bitcoin.  Learning the information behind blockchain technology almost covers all the cryptocurrency basic information. But people are mostly involved in Bitcoin due to its market trades.  Most are not into the technology but rather the profit it brings to a person.  So discussing about Bitcoin technology will not help people who are laser-focused on the bitcoin market trades.  It is better to discuss the Bitcoin economics so that people will understand more about the Bitcoin market.

Alot forks have hard misconceptions about this subject matter and in such have made a sum up assumption without any basic knowledge to back up their arguments,  this have been burned out of the many wrong steps taking by them in investing in a Ponzi scheme calling it Bitcoin.

There are lots of misconceptions because Bitcoin economics are presented the wrong way.  Most of the people who introduced Bitcoin is just stereotyping other people who profited hugely on the market without even learning the difference between the time those people had profited on the market and the current condition of the Bitcoin market.

Common, this is not a locality base challenge you're having from where you're and the people around there, this is a generalized problem many people face in introducing bitcoin to other, newbies hardly see it convincing to them that bitcoin could be that financial digital currency they could have an entire difference in from what fiat has always rendered, an average person will also want to join in bitcoin adoption as long as he's willing to see a change in his finances.
