Or you could buy a blade and not deal with any of this nonsense...

I ordered one of these: http://www.gawminers.com/gaw-miners-gridseed-case-t2/

I should have it in a couple of days. It should hold 40 units without the fans.

...or you could make your own like I did here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/my-custom-gridseed-case-build-499132

Holds 28 on each "shelf" with the fans on.

It could be worth keeping the fans.
Especially if you going to OC with the volt mod, if not the fans are not needed.
Happy mining!

Looks really nice,

I'm also trying to biuld up a small LTC-Rig to support my pool (OK, also my wallet  Grin)
This setup looks as it could fit in my shelf.

Take the fans off, and lay them down sideways, flat ends together. We used some cheap plastic pieces of wire conduit, and laid out channels for them to sit in so they don't roll sideways. Blow a small amount of air down the row, and heat isn't a problem at all. Cable management is also somewhat easy, as all the power and data are running the same direction.

Ends up with a very nice setup, and on our 2x4' shelf, we estimate we could fit close to 150 units.

Of course, if this is too much, I do believe they are working on 5 and 10MH/s standalone units, but last time I checked the price was more expensive than just buying the little round ones and chaining them together....

I just received my first 10 pack of Gridseed miners from ZoomHash and just love these (not so) little 5 chip buggers to death but hate how much room they take up.

Is anyone developing a device that has many more chips, let's say 100 chips minimum in a more standard board layout?

Since these chips run super cool in Scrypt-only mode it shouldn't be difficult to cram these chips close together and cool them with a single 120mm fan like BitMain does.

And please, if someone is already designing such a device, please use standard PCI-e power connectors so we can easily connect them to a ATX PSU.
