More than 6k btc earned just from ads on this forum, gotta say THAT is a fuckload of money. Come to think of it, the forum could really use the funds and use them in meaningful ways? Like for example, since the forum IS about bitcoin, the funds could be used to spread the right info about bitcoin, like starting a BTT youtube channel, or the idea of having bitcoin based courses, or even some contests/competitions/hackathons all of which could be sponsored by the raised bitcoins. If implemented well, the forum could finally be a bit more fun again. I know theymos has had similar ideas before but just bringing it back up on the timeline.

I agree with most of your ideas, But this 6K BTC funds are collected over a period of almost 8 years, which I believe are mostly used to cover forum development and management. As you know he has hired many mods, escrows to cover their payment he needs some consistent ways to pay them, And also he must have some funds in savings to cover some unexpected needs.
