People should stop thinking that ICOs are a way to get money. Crypto coins are supposed to solve issues relating to immutability and decentralization. If a coin’s purpose is to raise money, it is a shitcoin and nobody should value it or spend money to own it. You don’t need a shitcoin to raise money. Bitcoin donations to charities works without an inefficient waste of resources.
In regards to the folding@home project for cornavirus.
Someone should get together, with varies universities, and come up with a cryptocoin called "cornaviruscoin". Every computational power pointing towards the network would be used in cornavirus research. Perhaps as an ICO on ether? Smart contract?
Huge amount of computing resources that could be used, maybe for a vaccine?
Surely we Crypto Community could conjure something up, to help in the cornavirus battle.
