Isn't it possible to rebroadcast your transaction and add more in your transaction fee if you think that the low fee is what's causing the transaction no to go through? I read it somewhere in the forum that it is now easier to do with version 0.13.0. I am not sure if what I read was right. If anyone knows the correct information please explain in more detail.

Correct, you can easily create a new transaction using the same inputs as the original transaction, the "main" output still going to the gambling site (in this case), but send less change back to the change address (in other words: add more fees).

KnightDK has made a pretty tool to assist anybody who wants to try this, or i can help you out to (if you want to)

It takes almost an hour. No big deal. There are faster options like litecoin. I wish bitcoin were that fast also.
This guy has the wrong idea. Don't listen to him. You have to wait until the next block is mined, which is when you could get one confirmation. But if your fee is to low, you might have to resort for the next block.

My guess is the transaction was sent with a .0001 btc fee. I had the same thing happen to me once and the transaction took longer than usual to confirm. My advice is to set up a blockchain.info account and click send and then click advanced options. From there you will see how much the recommended fee is during that time. All you have to do is to copy the amount using your real wallet. If you want your transactions to go through without waiting too long it would be good to set a fee a little higher than .0001 btc per kb.

I have been out of bitcoin for around 6 months maybe more. For some reason it always draws me back, from gambling in my undies to everything else. I recieved my first coin an hour ago and sent a few transactions to bustabit and direct bet. Direct bet instantly recieved my bet but after waiting and waiting I realized my first transaction from an hour ago so hasnt confirmed. I am using blockchain and I dont remember it ever taking more than 30 minutes.

If you have the transaction ID, people can give you more information as to why it was taking longer - e.g. low fees etc.

I've had a couple transactions take an hour to an hour and a half recently.
Unless it took more than a couple hours and the transaction fee was really small I think you should be ok.

Also some services want more confirmations so maybe Bustabit requires more confirms than Direct Bet?

confirmation is depends on two things

1.block finding times and block finding times depends on difficulity(block finding can take more than 1 hour sometimes)
2.transaction fee (if you paid very small fee for your transaction then it will stay at backs at mempool)(mempool is where all unconfirmed transaction stay with other words transactions waiting to be confirmed)
