I had thought that was the case but everywhere I checked said once it's sent the destination cannot be changed so I looked for other answers,
Nodes accept the replacement transaction even if the fund is sent to different address(es).

According to BIP125, the replacement transaction must have at least 1 same input as the original transaction and it must pay sufficient fee.
BIP125 rules don't say anything about outputs.

The original transaction (hash: 92d0a8201e94e77dd379df242139724a1d0feb3f3e0f14f283ed5698c7e2465e) disappeared from the blockchain explorers (but is still visible and pending in Atomic) and a new transaction (hash: 2bf4bfce5aba2d3f7a0c981fb4edbf9a64a153ed56d2d88b0e791a80fe862860) was added to the history in my Atomic wallet. The original transaction is still pending, the new transaction has completed but to a new address I don't recognise.

TX hash 92d0a8201e94e77dd379df242139724a1d0feb3f3e0f14f283ed5698c7e2465e has been replaced with new TX hash 2bf4bfce5aba2d3f7a0c981fb4edbf9a64a153ed56d2d88b0e791a80fe862860 and its confirmed already with 89 confirmations, which means you or someone accessed your wallet and double spend the funds to a new address. You are saying that you don't recognize the second transaction that means your wallet has been compromised in someway and you can't do anything now.

Oh, well that sucks. I had thought that was the case but everywhere I checked said once it's sent the destination cannot be changed so I looked for other answers, thank you for the response.

I can see the wallet is empty, so never ever deposit any funds into that wallet anymore, and if there is any balance left on other coins then move them to a newly created wallet from another device as soon as possible.

Over 24 hours ago I tried to send a small amount (<£100) of btc from my Atomic wallet to a wallet I do not own, but semi-regularly send to (once/twice a month, similar amounts) and it got stuck because of a low fee (I'm assuming) so I hooked up Electrum and so I could up the fee.

In my Electrum watching-only wallet (which was created for the sole purpose of upping the fee) it says the balance is "on-chain" but I've only ever received and sent bitcoin, I'm very much a newbie to the technical side so I'm just confused by all of this.
