Unless your name is Dave, I don't think you have anything to worry about.

It's a bot.

If your name is Dave, then stay away from the airlocks.

A bot to tackle spam-bots is a wonderful idea.  Smiley

When I first saw the title, I had no clue who he was. A bot seems interesting though, is it a spam remover bot? Or another kind of bot?

This is the bot https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/eyeofsauron-411502.

Badbear does not disclose what this bot do. Maybe this bot has AI and will replace Badbear and Theymos in the future.

This may be due to the surge of bots activity. The only way to stop the bots is to use a bot.

That's not a new mod, it's a separate account for an existing mod. It's not typical, but somewhat unique circumstances.
I am very curious to know what the unique circumstances are. I would think that a moderator's main account would generally be associated with the fact they are in fact a moderator so they can be held accountable for their actions by the community when they actually act outrageous in some regard
Weird statement. Obviously you can still make him accountable.
If you think that staff members have 1 account, you'd be mistaken..
I think it would be much more difficult to do so without knowing their 'main' account. Moderator's actions are by default anon as you do not know who has taken specific action against specific users. It is only over time when trends start to occur that you can potentially complaint about actions

LOL he has one post

edit: I am pretty sure the account is some kind of test account and is not really someone being promoted to staff/moderator
