All, I haven't released another update but I plan to do so. I have been working on adding an attachment to the email that includes the error log so we can see why it went below specified threshold other than only saying it did. I want to add this to other firmware as well. Let me know if you want to see something added. Thanks

@semisane00

Are you saying that when you upgraded to the firmware it defaulted to 400mhz? I'll have to look into that

Wow amazing job bbroge! Wish you all the success in implementing further options and accessibility to your firmware!

It would be nice to have a S9 custom firmware which we can change the voltage, frequency and reduce the fan speed for a silent operation.

Kind Regards!

I would like to congratulate and thank the team here at CORE Cryptos for many hours of hard work on this project.
It was very important to our vision to supply the simplest and most profitable firmware which would enable us more flexibility with our clients.
With the help of engineers like Conker, we are able as a company, to become faster, more efficient, more profitable, and more deeply integrated into the needs of our customers.

Emoncms-
These tools enable a richer experience for you and your clients at a lower cost in bandwidth with this implementation.

Energy-
The voltage mod is obviously a winner here and the main inspiration for beginning work on these firmwares.

Alerts-
The email alerts system is flexible and you can set a variety of parameters to get the information you need, when you need it.

Split Hashing-
Quite a few use-cases for this one.

Advanced Configurations and more on the way...

A note on CORE Cryptos:
Trying to start a project in the realm of crypto can continually be a daunting and intimidating task.
But with a clear vision and the desire to help others- we present to you "Conker's Antminer D3 Firmware."

Nice job Conker, a job well done!

Hey all, this is the first initial public release of this firmware that some friends and I have been using for quite some time now. It was only until recently that I was able to activate the voltage mods that Blissz is using in his firmware release so I thought it was about time I put this out there.

*When upgrading please do not save your settings for this initial release.

In addition to this firmware allowing you to change the voltage from the web interface, you can also setup email alerts and monitor your D3 from emoncms.org. The image below is a representation of what you can do with the highly customizable dashboard.

http://image.ibb.co/iNHY5c/emon.png

For those of you that are not familiar with emoncms, here is a brief description taken from their website: Emoncms is a powerful open-source web-app for processing, logging and visualising energy, temperature and other environmental data.

Limitations & Additional Info

Email alerts (MSMTP):
-Currently only gmail is supported from web interface, but you can probably manually telnet and modify the msmtp config file in /config/msmtp.conf for others
-This will alert you of an issue with the hash rate when it falls below a certain threshold you can set, also auto reboots when below this threshold, if you don't want it to reboot you can set it to a high threshold (default) but this will also disable email alerts for now

Emoncms:
-You can host your own emoncms instance but the API is slightly different and only emoncms.org is supported in the web interface at this time
-Logging of temperature and hash rate is only supported this time

Voltage mod:
-only a global setting is available at this time unlike Blissz's firmware where you can set voltage per chain, maybe Blissz will release his source code soon and I can add it in with little effort Wink

Cgminer:
-still using 4.9.0
-fan RPM checks are disabled
-I am using quotas and there is an additional fourth pool added in the web interface pool section and they need to be entered as quota urls. If you want to continue using as normal priority pool just leave load balance unchecked.

And, Yes, of course the cgminer source is available here:
https://github.com/conkeronlive/cgminer-dash

There is absolutely no dev fee for this firmware, however I am appreciative of bitcoin or ether donations Smiley

As always, mods like this might void the warranty. Bitmain is under no obligation to honor your warranty should this firmware cause any damage.

Thank you and enjoy!

BONUS: I do plan on adding emoncms and email alert support to the S9 in the near future. For now here is a compiled version of bmminer that disables fan RPM checks for those of you trying to install custom fans. The temperature check is of course still in place.
