I'm glad I'm not the only one 
I do have indeed a shitty connection but the past days(before the downtime) loading pages is working fine, its just strange today I got that error from time to time and its so slow loading when opening a thread. But as I type this, everything went fine again. I'll expect the error later though 
Anyways I hope admins can fix whatever the problem is asap

Yes, I too have noticed the forum is very slow right now.
Could be one or more of the following:
1) Theymos is doing upgrades
2) Forum is under attack
3) Forum is much busier than normal

I'm also having problems. Most threads take a long time to load, and sometimes give a connection error. Is the forum under attack?

Server side. I have a fast internet and the page loads slow as hell. Doesn't load at times.
Pages aren't loading at all for me on Firefox but they do on chrome. Edit: this post took a long while to go through.
So I'm getting this error from time to time recently, is it just my shitty internet connection or is it on the server side?
