Its true that he is not at the top anymore but while he was he made some incredible highlights.

Wait but where is Conor now? 

I don't know how you still see this guy king when he's been getting  humiliated in all of his recent fights. He's just a proud fighter who is full of himself and has nothing to show for it 

I think he’s finished as an elite champ you know. His fight record in the last 2-3 years is horrible. The money & fame stopped him being hungry to be the best. He’s now just a rich guy.

I think he is not  as powerful as we see it on the screens

He was one of best fighters in MMA history but sadly he lost 2 fights in his very early time just because of this he was unable to stay undefeated 27 total fights and 22 won 5 lost its not bad at all just 3 fighters he unable to beat Artemji Sitenkov, Joe Duffy and Khabib Nurmagomedov won 5 title matches but sadly very poor end for very good fighter of this era.

He had retired 3x already but all has been broken and he return to the octagon But maybe this will be permanent as he has nothing to depend .

And i'm sure he had enough , Money and Fame ? but must admit that he will never have a record like what Mayweather has  and that is being UNDEFEATED .

But after watching this fight and after shocks of this defeat now I am feeling he is going to retire soon because its really very poor from his standard he lost 3 out of last 4 fights mean end of a good era in UFC so already mentioning change of team is also bringing him down very badly so its fact now time for hands up.

I used to train MMA and i can tell you the fight was good and McGregor was a winner if he didn't allowed his ego to be bigger than himself in that cage. There was clearly chances to win in the beginning of the second round not to talk about the great clear punches he was throwing in the face of Poirier in the first round.

I liked the shoulder fight It was a good and fast mach between them, Conor was well prepared but Poirer 'fount him' with his punches. There was a really big chance for McGregor to won this fight but its seems like he was making fun of his opponent especial when he caught his legs 2/3 times. Easy win but no.. 

I lose all in all about 740$ because i have different bets in different people , I deal in Real life gambling this time and did not go in Bookies or gambling sites.

Though in others this is small amount but in this pandemic season? this is a Good amount .

But it's Ok this fund is really for gambling  because big part of this comes from my gambling activities also.

he Really Administered the Game , I expected Poirier more aggressive at this match because this is a PayBack time.

after Losing Last time , He will Take this opportunity to Break Conor's Dream of Defeating Him multiple times.

Surely many of them lost their money betting on his victory. I think his true fans are just kidding and are fine with it. not that they are laughing about it

I think that many people do not do it out of Respect for Conor

I didn't expect that to happen, Poirier clearly found Conor's weakness

Then that only tells that OPs expectation of him as the king is no longer viable or it's still his preference to say.

I'm totally wrong on this one and very sadden because of the losing ,  Maybe this is the time for conor to retire ?

though he shows Great fight it's just Poirier is lucky hitting him with good punch and that ends it all.
actually that was the strategy Conor did back in 2014 when their first fight happens , He throws a lot of kicks in the beginning and why not do it this time.

Poirier leg kicks did most of the damage initially and Conor was feeling these kicks well after the fight as well after he was forced to use crutches to make his way to the post-fight press conference and admitted his leg was “completely dead”.

I was expecting Conor to win by Poirier was too good for him last night.

Poirier was really on and done good job even Mcgregor is great fighter but in this match he was completely outclass by opponent now I am feeling his days are end he need to live peacefully fights career is now not going to help him in future after this fight he was feeling some problem in walking.

Was a good fight, was surprised by Poirier Leg kicks. He followed the Coach very well ! Cant wait for a rematch if there will be one

Khabib Won't get it thru Conor this time . McGregor is too Thirsty now and will not allow anyone to stand His way.

Though of Course Things happen sometimes but i doubt that by Any chance Conor will Lower His Defense and Offence for any fight this soon.

McGregor is a great guy, I really enjoy his videos. Sitting in his own bar, and just telling everybody whats going with a straight face. This guy is the king. How can you not like him.

I know that money won't get Khabib out of retirement - he doesn't need it.  Let Connor start running his mouth, win a few fights, get the title - Khabib will come out at that point just to ensure that Connor doesn't have the title, then probably retire again.

McGregor is one of best fighter we have in last few years he can win this match but still all predictions are too early because any thing possible in a match Poirier is also very good fighter and he can do upset in this match.
Now after death of his father he is already announced retirement most chances he will not came back and fight with McGregor because he announces his mother want to retired from this and he done this for Mother.

Connor has a big advantage in this fight, Porier will likely get KO/TKO under 2.5 rounds.  The bigger fight would be Khabib coming out, Connor doesn't want that - he would get destroyed again.  There is a pretty clear #1 and #2, and then everyone else.

Base on my personal analysis, i think that McGregor will win the fight. Judging from the physique, fighting style and fighting mindset, for me mcgregor has an advantage. I bet he will knockout poirier.

The Odds seems to be Not profitable for gamblers  So i wanted to Deal directly to Poirier's Bettors 

But seems like even in gambling thread everyone wants to bet for Conor 

Poirier is a good fighter but when it comes to fighting McGregor, I think that he will have a hard time because McGregor is MMA while Poirier is BJJ(Brazilian Jiu Jitsu) meaning that Poirier's style is a little inferior against McGregor's style which is a striker, not to mention that McGregor also knows BJJ which will be disadvantageous for Poirier.

That's a Dream Match for Poirier But surely its Conor's ring in January 23 and i'm betting for the Best 1 of course.

He is a good fighter but I never liked the guy.. I don't know why, there is no reason.
In every case he will win in this fight probably by KO I think.

But Absolutely this is Conor's Fight ,He had beaten Poirier's once and He will beat Him again this time.

We are not talking about What kind of Person he is ,But this is about the skills and the capacity to win , He faced Mayweather as He thinks of Having another career in Boxing but He's Not so Go back to the Octagon as this is the place for Him.

We know he loves his money but who here likes Floyd Mayweather - i mean i am trying to figure out if he is really a good person or if he is just always thinking money or if he is a show off or if he is good at his boxing technique or if he is just a good boxer in another way , etc...

I love Conor McGregor too, he is a great athlete and showman. It's kind of sad he retired because he was definitely one of the greatest. The best comeback ever would be if comes and beats up these wannebe Paul brothers who are just trying to get likes for their youtube videos.

Hey man, you should definitely not be disappointed in Conors performance against Khabib. First of all, out of all Khabibs last high profile opponents, Conor actually had a good outing and stuck to a really good game plan that worked for some time (He forced Khabib to stay in the center of the octagon where Khabibs TDs are less of a threat, as seen by Conor stuffing one or maybe two in some rounds). That kind of mental strength was unfortunately not shown by Gaethje as he, for some reason (I would say he succumbed to the pressure), failed to stick to that same plan (and I am positive that that was the plan). Secondly, we should not take away from Khabibs performance and write it off as a bad day for Conor. Khabib forces pressure on him and he came out on top (pun intended) in the end. IMHO I believe that Conor had the best outing and had a good chance, but in this sport, the tables turn quickly). The biggest issue I see is what happens when the fight goes to the ground. I do not see a way Conor outworks Khabib on the ground, however, I look at it, and the only thing I see working is Conor managing to make it to the end of every round with the majority of the time being in the center on his feet. Long story short, Conor did good, he was game that night, but could he do better...that's up in the air.

I think McGregor will win too. Yeah i was dissapointed too at the time, it was hard to see Conor being like that.. The Wealth he accumulated got the best of him at the time, i mean 100 Mil payday would get to us all .

Cerrone was Stunned and SHOCKED . He was in a place where he rarely ever was in his Carrer! Conor is just a different level

Was watching this Fight on Live TV, was screaming : HE IS GONNA FKING KO HIM WITH HIS SHOULDER

McGregor will win I think, I’m a big fan of his but I still feel disappointed with him for the Khabib performance. It was really sub par & I think it’s because he wasn’t fight fit, he wasn’t motivated & hungry at that point.
I can’t find it now but there’s a pic of Conor’s physique 1 month pre the Khabib fight & a pic 1 month pre this fight, he looks so much fitter now, he looks stronger with much better muscle definition now. I want to see Conor win this fight & then a big rematch with Khabib (I think he will come out of retirement if Dana offers a big fight package).

This is why Conor McGregor is the King. Not just in Martial arts but his mindset as well !
