When you trade any currency, it is always risky and I can assure you that Altcoin is much more risky than Bitcoin, simply because it does not last long and is not stable so its price can increase or detain at any time, however because it is so cheap so many people invest in it

Consequence of going into altcoin trading and other cyptocurrency specially bitcoin without proper orientation or enough knowledge is very risky. Its like "you cant teach what you dont know".

Trading Altcoin is very risky than bitcoin [in my opinion] because you cannot say where and when it will increase its price, how many people bought it and mine about the said coins.
  • in my experience, in altcoin and ICO, the first release of the coin in the market is very high and profitable then after a week you will see its true value.

Now, before entering to the crypto-world it is better that your invites or friend really understand how it goes and the risk of it. Because afterward you will be name as SCAM.

altcoin trading is very risky but altcoin trading is very profitable in the long run or long term we can really choose the right price coin and clever understanding of market graphics or news stories about things that affect the ups and downs of a coin price, I have a coin that I use often like DOGE, ETH, DGB and some of the others too, I think choose a great coin coin that is far from a scam to invest in the long term. we must really have a mature mind if you want to get down to trade because if we only have the reckless capital or capital money alone we will continue to lose, we need to have a lot of research and also the right thinking right to choose the type of coin that we will trade .

If you scan through the coin market you will see so many shit coin in the market, some of them were looking like coin that will be promising but along the the line they got dumped. You have to be vigilant while trading any of the altcoin because it can be dumped at any time.
that is so true,so iit still boils down to doing your own research. Thanks for dropping by

it is like saying "what will happen if you try driving an airplane instead of its captain for the first time in your life and without knowledge of it"!!!

trading is the same, it is just easy to get in the "cockpit" and start trading but it is not easy to land the plane where you want successfully without killing all the passengers on board or at least losing a great number of them.

i know it is tempting to see the rise, specially when the altcoins get pumped 1000%-5000%. that is ridiculous amount of profit that can make anyone weak. but it doesn't mean it is easy to know when to buy and when to dump.
wow, what an illustration, im sure any newbie that reads this will never venture into trading with this kind of analogy you just use. Be that as it may, you are very very correct. Research prevents heartbreaks...... Thanks for dropping by

Alt coin trading needs a lot more research than Bitcoin, because I see Alt coins as a even higher risk investment than Bitcoin.

You will have to do some proper homework with Alt coins to separate the scam coins from the genuine coins. Coins with a

pre-mine is a definite NO NO... { Bitcoin Gold will also be pre-mined, so I have my early doubts } A lot of people have burnt

their fingers on Alt coins. {including myself}  Roll Eyes
oh so sorry to hear you getting your hands burnt, but the thing is if you do not do proper research, you are sure to learn the hard way, just that it might create doubt about altcoin in your mind
