Spending to find a gem, moving my bitcoin to the exchanges, taking risk to lose the coin, taking time to brainstorm for a trade if not making any mistake - I can avoid all these if I just hold my BTC. More peace in mind.

There's one more thing to take into account. There was a Bitcoin only portfolio with which every other can be compared. And those who just used a hodl strategy in Bitcoin got more.
