Every Goverment that Bans Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency in their country always states the primary reason for Ban. That Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency are used for Cybercrime activity such as Terro funding, Money Laundering and etc.

Most of these allegation have not been proven. A new report suggest that they have not been used for Terror funding in Europe. The 72-page long study, titled Intenet Organized Threat Assessment 2018, thoroughly touches upon the various modules of online crime.

The report states that Terrorist main funding still stems from conventional banking and money remittance services,

Do you think that Reports like this can pressurize Goverments to remove Ban on Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency?

All the reasons against Bitcoin especially the fact that it funds terror are utterly ridiculous.  Any form of payment can be made for an illegal activity.  Cash works great as well.

The biggest slap in the face is most of the terrorists attacks are false flags done by the government.  Any investigative research into any of these trageties that have happened over the last few years and you will see there is much more than meets the eye.

Our biggest threat to our lives and well being is the government.  Sad to see so many here looking for them to help.

Much to our dismay, no matter how many reports are published removing bitcoin from negative allegations, most governments would simply shake the reports off and just do their own thing. Even before bitcoin existed, terrorist groups are funded with fiat, and what's even worse is that these terrorist sometimes get advanced weaponry that can only be procured with special licensing and deals, etc. It's quite impossible to see someone selling weapons for bitcoins at a huge volume, and there aren't any official reports stating that bitcoin has been used for terrorism and the likes. Money laundering and fraud, yes, but terrorism?

Interpol is funded by private entities since sometimes now, not by the government anymore. With the lobby, Interpol cannot be trusted anymore, and everything that pops out of their mouth needs to be taken with a grain of salt.

Maybe even the news media is the main reason why politicians think that BTC is the currency of choice for criminals. But it is not entirely their fault as politicians fails to do their job and part of their job is research they fail to confirm the news by themselves and they fail to see the brighter opportunity ahead. Men who has a high position in the government that has no knowledge whatsoever im something must keep their mouths shut and don't do something stupid just like banning cryptocurrencies entirely.

From the beginning it was known that all these accusations against bitcoin were nothing more than a smokescreen. They have tried to use bitcoin as a scapegoat to divert the attention from the true accomplices of those crimes and to try to get the population away from cryptocurrencies.
It has long been known that bitcoin is considered a scapegoat, because there is no one to punish. It is anonymous, there is no owner and you can say bad anything on this currency. Most interestingly, the majority of bankers has on the wallets bitcoin, but nevertheless, they believe the criminal bitcoin currency. ))) Funny ...

All the countries that have come up with those excuses of banning bitcoin are doing it for two reasons:

1. Economic systems: countries like China comes to mind in this case because that is their modelled economic system where government control of every aspect of their citizens life.

2. Laziness: countries that have not been able to get a breakthrough in up-to-date technology believes that the best way is to go the banning way because they don't want to add the challenges that comes along with crypto industry.

I believe that the narratives are currently changing about the use of crypto for terrorist activities and this is made possible with the massive KYCs by reputable organisations operating in the crypto space. Its now on us as participants to continue with the good narratives and focus more on the good ones rather dwelling on things that drag the industry backwards.

I don't think that we should make that comparison. If we can take an example of bank fraud and hack, they also can take many examples of Bitcoin hacks and frauds, even worse. There is nothing to ensure that if Bitcoin is accepted, it won't have risk of being hacked. To emphasize the surperiority of Bitcoin, we need to show the specific features that Bitcoin has but conventional banks don't.

The report doesn't still exonerate bitcoin from other cyber crimes. It will not likely impact Government tough stance on bitcoins, they know the facts already but still use this ruse to discredit bitcoin.Money control by Governments(through the central banks) is a tool to score both political and economic points-clearly difficult to achieve with bitcoins.
You could read about a single bank (Danske bank) laundered $234 billion in just a few year- larger than the entire cryptomarket capitalization. https://news.bitcoin.com/danske-banks-money-laundering-ceo-quits/

Yes I know that. In fact, I have worked on one of the largest global banks that had been under DPA because dirty money had been able to enter a relationship with the bank and I've seen how much the bank suffered during the 5 year term of the DPA. As for bitcoins, you're right, nothing has been proven that it had been used for terrorist funding but we still have to keep our guards up. We still don't know if it can be possible.
