Guys, do not waste your time with neteller.

They blocked my 15 year old account after I reported that I was hacked and money was stolen. They did nothing even though I contacted them by phone minutes after it happened.

As a result of their "investigation" they decided to close my account without any info. Needless to say that the 1000$ that were stolen were not refunded, not even a sorry.

15 year long customer and treat me like shit. Absolute scam site.

Also just noticed it, but neteller seems to have a very high spread difference for buy/sell btc?  There is like a one thousand dollar plus spread?  That is normal?

Anyone can confirm this?  So never buy btc from neteller and only sell btc due to this huge spread?  is there that big of a spread on neteller?

But could you cash out the crypto though to your own wallet?

I think that this wallet is generally great for working with cryptocurrency. At least, I have been using such a bunch for quite some time.

My issue isn't that its gambling funds.  its the fact that i don't have bank account linked to my neteller account and even if i i did, the fees would be way too high.

So i typically swap these neteller or gambling funds with few people i know for a while.  But so far no demand for it.  So because of that, i want to know if there is a way to swap my neteller funds for crypto, since i can then cash out to say coinbase and then to your bank account.

You bumped a very old thread but since it's your own thread, you have the right to do so. I have been in the same situation so I will try and answer your question. Gambling funds mean you cannot withdraw them but transfer, hence some exchangers will not accept them. Then again, there are gambling forums where people are looking for gambling funds and will pay you BTC for it. I haven't used any gambling forums for a while but you may try your luck at Hackfroums.

Alternatively, you can create a thread here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0 and post all the details that the funds you have are gambling funds and cannot be withdrawn but only transferred. I have been in the same situation as you for skrill and the worst part is that if you transfer the funds to someone even then it remains gambling funds. I tried to send to my friend and get it back in hope that the gambling funds will become normal funds but it didn't worked.
This is one of the riskiest things in the crypto world though, I do not know if it is wise to suggest them to do it, or go on with it, or even forward them to a place that they will do it. All the things you have said is correct, every single information on your post is correct, I have absolutely no complaints about it and there is absolutely no correction required about it.

Only thing I would be worried about is that if someone tries to trade with another person that way, basically p2p, and they are not face to face, that means that someone could take their money and not give anything in return. OP should be very careful about this situation and try to force the other person to go first.

Anyone know how I can swap neteller gambling funds for btc?

Neteller lets you buy btc with neteller funds but not allow you to withdraw to your own wallet.

So if I'm back in the US, then order the wise card.  Then when I go back outside the US again... how sure are you that I can link my neteller to this wise card?  I don't think it would link because my neteller is registered with a nonus address which I am most of the year... and this wise card would be registered in my name but with a US address.

So how would I get the neteller funds to this wise card then?  In the end, I want to get funds to my US bank account.  I do know if I could get funds into my wise card... then I would have no issue sending it to my bank of america account right?  But I don't believe i could send neteller funds to this wise card.

As I previously stated before, I see no reason why it wouldn't work. I remember linking a card with my Skrill account with a Paysera card that had a different address, a few years back. All I had to do was the normal procedure - verify it by checking the card statement. So although I can't guarantee it would work with Neteller, I think that you should give it a shot since you're out of solutions. Besides, the card does not cost that much. You can also try to send or withdraw the funds to your Wise bank account in case the card doesn't work.

Well the thing is I'm out of the Us most of the time.  But I could have it shipped to my US address and pick it up when I am there.  So when I'm back outside the US again so I could log into my neteller account, are you positive I could transfer the neteller funds to that wise card?  The thing is I'm pretty sure this is not possible.  The reason being my neteller account which I use outside the US is linked to my non US address which I been using for years.  How could I link or transfer my neteller funds to a Wise card which has a US address?

I am pretty sure neteller would not allow this?  I do know for years, you could get a neteller or skrill debit card.... and use it to withdraw cash from ATMs.  I had done this few times with the skrill card years ago.  This was until they no longer allowed you to use the skrill card anymore for countries that are outside Europe etc.  Thus my skrill card is registered outside the US but its not in Europe.

So doesn't that mean there is no way I could transfer my neteller funds to this wise card?

It's up to you where you want to ship it. You can basically be in almost any country and still be able to order it as long as you have an address in one of the following locations: https://wise.com/help/articles/2968915/can-i-get-the-wise-card-in-my-country

I can't really tell you for sure, but from my experience with PayPal and Skrill, I don't think that the addresses need to match. Also, please refrain from asking the same questions on different topics and boards.

If I order the wise card... do I order it and have it shipped to me in the US?  Or do I have it shipped to me outside the US?  So this wise debit card has nothing to do with neteller?

So once I get this card... if i link it to my neteller account... how would that even work?   Don't neteller need to confirm my wise card address matches with the neteller account address or something like that?  Again im outside the US most of the time.

Wait are you talking about the neteller debit card similar to like the skrill debit card?  Or do you mean a regular visa card?

So you are saying being American, I can still order this card and have it sent to the US?  I know there is a neteller or skrill card but I heard those cards can only be sent and used in european countries though.  Are we talking about this card or something else?

I'm talking about the Wise (formerly known as TransferWise) debit card and yes, you should be able to order it even if you're a U.S citizen.

If you order the card, and then link it to your Neteller account, you should be able to withdraw the funds to it and then basically send the funds to any bank account you want.

Yes, everyone can create an account and if you want to order the card, you will have to be from the U.S, UK, or EU so you should be fine. Even if you're not currently residing in these countries, you could just send it from someone there, because you just need an address for the card shipping, and AFAIK, proof of residency is not required.

You can then simply link that Visa card to your Neteller card. Withdraw the funds as I said, and then transfer them to your U.S or any other bank account. I can't think of any reason why this wouldn't work for you.

I don't think that neteller is accepted payment method on Binance P2P because it only supports bank other trusted payment solution. Since PayPal is not allowed in Binance, I believe this rules apply to neteller since they are just same and both I don't see on payment method on BinanceP2P.

I don't if other country binanceP2P allows it but I highly doubt it. On decentralized P2P exchange might accept this kind of payment method or our very own currency exchange here in the forum.

I understand that OP has no use for Binance P2P but just wanted to correct what you said, Binance does support Neteller actually.

As for PayPal, you might be right but I'm not sure. Did they make an announcement about it? I couldn't find any but I was surprised that even though it's listed among the payment methods, there are only 2 sell offers in EUR.

Be careful to read terms and condition and your exchange rate also.

What do you mean by visa card?  Any visa card I have whether debit or credit is with my US bank account... thus this would not work.

I heard of transferwise.  Anyone can get that account regardless right?  Again I'm American in another country.  But the issue is I don't think i could withdraw those neteller funds to the transferwise account?

Well if I have a wise account, couldn't i just wire the money to my US bank account then?  Again my issue here is converting the neteller USD funds... into either crypto or US bank account funds.

Do you happen to know how much it costs to withdraw from Neteller to a  Visa card? I can see that it says somewhere between 0 - 7.5% on their website so assuming it's low for you (again, I'm not sure what are the fees based on). I would advise you to order a TransferWise card, withdraw your Neteller funds to that card and then exchange your Wise funds to BTC using a P2P platform. You don't necessarily need someone with a Wise account to trade with, since you'll automatically get a US, EU (SEPA), and UK bank account with Wise.

I found out that I cannot withdraw any btc from neteller to my own crypto wallet.  Neteller support tells me the country that I'm located in and thus registered with... does not allow this option.  I think very few countries allow this option as I read online, its not many countries that support it.  Basically you can buy btc with neteller funds... but the issue is you cannot withdraw the btc to your own crypto wallet... which makes it pointless.

Does anyone have any other options?  The only one seems to be paybis?  But when you factor in the fees... its around 8% total?  That is a lot of fee to pay to convert neteller usd funds to btc.  Certainly there has to be places that allow you to convert for less?  This makes zero sense why it cost this much to convert neteller to btc?

Is there any other options?  Again I'm an American that relocated outside the US years ago and thus have a non US neteller registered account for years that I been using for mainly depositing/withdrawing into gambling sites.  I cannot use binance because I'm an American.  So what options do I have here?  Again I have neteller USD and want to swap it for either boa/zelle or crypto.  I would prefer crypto more.  Now if I could withdraw crypto from neteller, then this would be very simple but I cannot.

Hi.  I can't use binance because I'm American.  Even though I'm outside the US, my documents would be US and they won't accept it.

So is there any other options?  Paxful and localbitcoins charges a huge fee for this.  The thing that has me confused is why are fees this high?  I mean if I have neteller and want btc, why is the fees even more than 3 percent.  I find that even high since if you look at sites like coinbase, they charge one percent or so.

My question is, does anyone know how I can convert my Neteller USD funds into BTC or any crypto in my situation?  Or into Zelle or bank of America?
You can convert your Neteller funds into crypto in the Binance p2p market, although there need high fees. As far I know their rate ratio is like 1:1.03. You can use bestchanger to see the site list of 3rd party exchanger sites where rates are high. You need to pay like 1.03/05 to get 1$ of crypto. You can also exchange them through the marketplace section of Bitcointalk. You can find many vendors who exchange Neteller from crypto. From my view, use Paxful and LocalBitcoins, as you mentioned. These two will provide the best rates. But if you looking for a safe transaction then go for binance p2p.

Based on a quick search, you can only send crypto to other people who is also using Neteller and not the way around, which means that withdrawing your BTC to an external wallet like Electrum or any other wallet outside Neteller isn't doable.

You can still send crypto to an external wallet though, but you must have your FIAT ready on your Skrill account, which may be cumbersome to do given that you already purchased your BTC with FIAT.

I heard some countries do allow you to withdraw the crypto to your own wallet.  But I can't do this?  Does anyone have the full list of countries where you could actually withdraw crypto to your own wallet?  Otherwise this would be useless as it would be similar to like paypal.

Okay so the thing is I cannot use binance anymore due to them requiring KYC.  Thus last time I had funds in binance and I had to sell my altcoin for btc and then withdraw to my own btc wallet.

Reason I cannot do KYC to keep using binance is because I'm a US citizen that was basically living abroad all the time.  So back then when I used binance, I only logged in and used it while abroad and thus always with a non US ip address.  I never had to use a vpn since I was abroad.  But since they require KYC not long ago, I had to withdraw my funds.

So based on that, I can't use binance anymore since I can't trade anymore right?  Im confused because people here said you could actually convert neteller USD to btc and then withdraw to your own wallet?

The bisq... can I do that in my situation?

Again i want to convert my neteller USD funds into crypto.  Doesn't matter if its btc or whichever crypto it is.  I also do not want to pay a huge fee... like imagine a 10% fee which would be ridiculous.  Is there a way to pay like 3% or so or even less or is that not possible in my situation?

But I have a question Binance p2p does have Neteller in their payment modes?

They have but the problem is you can't sell neteller funds instead you will receive the payment through Neteller if you sold crypto on Binance p2p.
Look at the image below as my screenshot found it there on p2p payment settings.

That's the only option that I saw on their app but if you change your local FIAT to USD you have the option to find the Neteller sellers but the problem is the current rate is pretty high it's around $67k.

What I think is if he doesn't want to exchange the Neteller funds at that rate his best option is to buy USDT instead of bitcoin.
Look:

The best thing is it's zero fee.

But you can only move funds from Binance p2p to your Binance main wallet then only you can opt for withdrawal so still the withdrawal fee is going to be high in that case but he can convert into other altcoins with cheaper withdrawal price.

I think Best_Change would help you here. I am not sharing because I am wearing their signature. I am suggesting you because a few of my known people have been using Best_Change for such as exchange like Neteller or skrill. As far as I know, they hadn't faced any issue yet and they are using Best_Change for a long time. A lot of options you can find there. Choose who offers the lowest fee. Just be careful if you deal peer-to-peer, perhaps there is a dispute that would happen in Neteller.

Plus BISQ is one of the best ways to trade without KYC, especially if you don’t want to be tracked, you can use it to trade to a “privacy coin”, then trade back to Bitcoin somewhere else for cold storage.

Yeah, Neteller has always been "problematic", it's like with Revolut, people are limited. The problem with Bisq is it doesn't have Neteller as a payment option. And with this payment processor, you can't send money to someone else outside the system. You can only send money either to another Neteller user or to your own bank account (IIRC).

As for converting your Neteller funds to bitcoins, you can use Paybis or BtcBit. While I know the first and I don't know the second. So don't forget to make your own due diligence. Both use USD & EUR.
Or if you know someone using BTC with Neteller, you could convert your USD/EUR to BTC and then send BTC to another Neteller user.

I think I remember neteller looking problematic (I haven't used it so can't really say for sure though).

And yes bisq is another p2p exchange like localbitcoins. You might have a fee issue again though as I think neteller is a bit of a weird asset when it gets traded p2p (some of the exchange rates look high, especially compared with things like cash deposits too).

I meant if i convert my neteller to btc on neteller site... I cannot send that btc to my own wallet.  Apparently any btc you have on neteller... is kept on neteller.  Thus you could only trade it back to neteller funds and cannot send that btc to another btc address.  Apparently neteller only allows you to trade... without being able to withdraw the crypto.

Or am i making a mistake here?  Someone mentioned you can't withdraw your btc or any crypto on neteller to your own crypto wallet.  My neteller account is registered in a nonUS country as Im abroad most of the time and only use it abroad as I cannot use it while in the US.

I never heard of bisq.  Is that an exchange?  Again, I want to convert my neteller USD funds to either btc/crypto or zelle/boa.  Thing is previously I would always just trade my neteller with a few guys who would swap their zelle/boa with me.  But they don't need neteller at the moment.  So I want to know if there is a way to swap my neteller for btc/crypto or zelle/boa.  The thing is I want funds in my US bank account... but if can't... then I don't have getting btc/crypto instead.

What do you mean that you can't withdraw BTC from neteller?

It seems that you can able to convert them directly from FIAT to Bitcoin so it requires a BTC address.
So it's directly converted and sent to your BTC address read it here https://www.neteller.com/en/crypto-withdrawals

Unless if your account is registered in non supported country based on what they said.

I think is p2p is the only way if you want to convert your Neteller to BTC did you tried bisq?

Hi.  Looking for a bit of advice here.  I have neteller USD funds... these are gambling non US funds.  I would like to convert or swap it for btc or any crypto or zelle/boa.  Reason being I'm American from the US but I'm abroad a lot during the year so when i use neteller outside the US, I would deposit it on other gambling sites and play on those sites.

Then on those sites that I deposit into and play on, I either trade it for zelle/boa with some old contacts of mine who are contacts for many years who do trades or withdraw it back to neteller.  Thus imagine trading your neteller funds online with someone for their boa/zelle etc.  The thing is at the moment, none of my contacts seem to need neteller or online poker funds at the moment.  The reason why I cannot just cashout straight to my US bank account is because its not allowed since I do not have a foreign bank account active at the moment.  But even if I did, I know the fees to transfer it to that bank account and then back to my US bank account would incur lot of fees due to the currency exchange.

At first I saw neteller allows you to buy/sell crypto with neteller funds so I though great.  Because that way I just convert all my neteller funds to btc.  Then withdraw the btc to my own btc wallet.  Until I found out on neteller you can't even send btc to any wallet.  The btc stays in your neteller account... which just seem ridiculous.

My question is, does anyone know how I can convert my neteller USD funds into btc or any crypto in my situation?  Or into zelle or bank of america?

I know there are sites like localbitcoin and paxful but they charge a very high fee.  But are there any other alternatives?  I don't know anything about forex and exchanges like that... but do any sites allow you to deposit with neteller USD funds and buy crypto... then you can withdraw it to your own wallet?  If so, can anyone name them and what fees they charge?  Also I'm American so that might be possibly another issue if they ask for non US documents?  I have no issue playing on the nonUS sites because I got verified with them years ago with my nonUS utility bill etc.  And I only access these sites when I'm outside the US.
