Thats a very interesting article

There isnt any other Bitcoin collectible by brand holding as much Bitcoin as Casascius coins
hold collectively I guess. It might only be less than 0.02% its still a staggering amount to
be loaded onto metal coins all the same.

Quote
of the six S1-COIN-1,000s, each carrying 1,000 BTC, four remain untouched.

Wow those 4 coins are in a very elite club! the one who holds out the longest will command
the most rewarding value.

Out of 21 million bitcoins total, with 41,280BTC remaining loaded on casascius physicals.

This means 0.0196% of all 21 million bitcoin are loaded on casascius physical bitcoins

For reference, if you look at a 24-hour day, 0.0196% of that day would be about 17 seconds. This is a fleeting moment in the span of an entire day.

also, for reference If you had $10,000 and someone took away 0.0196% of it, they'd only be taking away $1.96. You'd probably not even notice the amount missing.

cas coins are a really tiny fraction of all btc in circulation.

Bitcoin.com just put this article up. If the Author, Jamie Redman, is a forum member then shout out to you on a great job writing something that is interesting.
Most Physical Bitcoin pieces just ask, "What is a physical Bitcoin?" This article has some updates on Casascius stats. Check it out.
