I don't know

I don't really care about what China does. They can ban whatever they feel like. A commodity can still be bought and sold on the market, just like anywhere else.

thanks: I thought it was a good representation of potential market cap!. also I just re-viewed -1984 -the version with  john hurst where the consequences of banning un-words and sex was highlighted.

Edit: nvm

That's lovely. Still has fuck-all to do with anything

so your considered opinion is the map has nothing to do with the "world" and it has nothing to do with "BTC" -it also has nothing to do with conversion of "fiat to BTC" I would be interested to know in what you consider to be "something".?

Borrowed from another thread:
!) China has declared BTC not a currency but a commodity and has banned conversion into CNY. also banned sale of mining equipment via their equivalent of e-bay. But as can be seen here there is a constant day and night conversion of CNY into BTC?. what will the chinese ban next ? the internet? talking? thought? sex?.

Since fiatleak takes the data from the exchangers api , and we know how reliable Chinese numbers are , esp "houbi" , I won't trust what fiatleak says
