Was this video meant to get me excited about bitcoins? Just placing a machine which I can't tell has anything to do with bitcoins from the outside, isn't enough. If I was those 2 guys I be engaging people, I would have a sign that says "Come learn about bitcoins" and every half hour just teach and answer questions.

I bet they will not even make $50K with this machine.

Doing something to get people involved is better than not doing anything at all. So still +1 to them Smiley

You obviously don't know the art of making people actually care about that machine. He gave a figure of I think 25 million people will walk by that machine. I bet you less than a 1000 even look at that machine. So while you think they are doing something to get people involved, they aren't.

In 2012, I would peach about bitcoins to any store I went too. I was so good that I had my pitch down to 90 seconds that highlight the usefulness of bitcoins. That is how you get people involved, not just placing a machine and going we are going to get people involved. That is how you fail.

Listen to me I know a little more than most of the people here even those two, that think a machine in a populated area is getting people involved.

looks to me like a demonstration, with 2 salesmen with a machine on a desk. if this was to be an actual machine being used in a permanent location, screwed to a wall that cant be easily removed from. i would be more impressed.

but i bet within 6 hours at most of that video production, that ATM was put back into LibertyTellers car and was not seen publicly the next day.

give it maybe 6 months and they would probably of found a location that is permanent and not just a publicity stunt. until that day, this video has nothing new to offer

Hey anything to get exposure, right?   Roll Eyes

Just like the "Winkdex" isn't the most catchy name, it still generates buzz and attention.  Things Bitcoin needs to grow.

even by nerd standards this video is not very cool.  The machine itself is.
