The noise of S9's fans are quite higher pitched than the old S7 Antminers, but both are really annoying.
If that's the case, you will be forced to pick one Antminer S9 or your wife?

Okay thanks. So with just the one it'd be pretty loud, but the heat is easily controlled, right? From what I've heard from other people, the noise is the only real problem with having just one in your home. I've seen some videos on noise reduction and cooling in a sound-proof box.
