This post was copied from reddit

He/she put the source of the original content at the end of his/her post. So let me clear some things, what's the purpose of having interaction/discussion here in bitcointalk if we haven't enough knowledge to give simple opinion or statements? Copying contents are considered lowkey spammers.

You can use the reddit content as a basis for your own opinion or maybe rephrasing can be considered/ let through by intellectual persons, just add a little information that comes from your own brain cells.

My Bad, I checked all them in Vod's site. Look like Vod is not parsing some user even in a Month but their banned status is getting updated instantly as they both are banned on his site.

I found one more bug in there site that if somebody got unbanned, then this site still show it banned. (Look like 2-3 different program running independently to populate that dashboard.)

Thanks.

They all are newbie or brand new,  give me snapshot where Jr. Member or above is banned by this Method.
I have given you two Jr. Member (karitime & crypto_koins), bruv. Kindly check.

Full Member:
Milonsa

Code:
Autoban user: N/A in topic #0 by member #1158128

Again:
All bans in the modlog are autobans, and permanent.
If you cannot find the userid in our modlog, I used BitcoinTalk Public Information Project (BPIP) – credits to Vod, to check if the member is already banned (to avoid repeated reports). See sample below:

PS: I am impressed by your report count. Kudos to you.
Thanks

Need Moderator  to confirm it.
-snip-
Chances are the Mod who handles the ticket can't ban the user. Most Mods can only nuke Newbies. The post will get deleted, but the user won't get banned.
Per experienced, when I reported plagiarism case in different boards, it is unhandled (they already handled my reports except the plagiarist) which indicates that someone has the authority to ban user(s) is handling them and not just nuke them - they leave it unhandled for ban purposes.

I do not think LoyceV has created a topic in vain when Permanent banning can be done by simply this method.

PS: I am impressed by your report count. Kudos to you.

Edit: I found that old post specifying the same.  Need Moderator  to confirm it.

I will suggest to create a list of permabanned user for copy/pasting and moderators giving track that which post of that thread they have processed. This will help in reporting as we can easily check whether user is already banned or reported by other but pending review by moderator so no need to take action or re-report.
A Rank "Banned" has been suggested before (by me and other people). That would be the fastest way to know an account is banned already, and doesn't need further attention.

Report to mod is for reporting anything.

You Both are wrong. This need to be reported at Mod, please check new plagiarism: Reporting copy/pasting, please permban.
Report to Moderator will not cause Permaban for copy pasting.
What? No. If any user breaks the forum rules and if they reported, they are handled accordingly. And if someone plagiarizes, report them and cite the original source. They WILL be banned.
IIRC, autobans=permabans,it might include temp bans too, but they aren't shown in modlog.

Manual bans aren't shown in modlog(as per badbear's comments).

Was asked to chime in here for clarity sake:

Permaban- This is shorthand referring to the severity of the ban. In this case permanent ban.

This is opposed to a tempban, which would be temporary.

All bans that do not specify a time frame are permanent

Completely different are autoban, and manual ban.
These only apply to mods and admins which none of us are. The difference being that in manual they can adjust and ad further restrictions beyond that of the autoban.

When someone refers to use the "report to moderator" for plagiarism and states permaban. It's because a permanent ban is the punishment, and you only need to report to moderator with a source to get the desired affect.

No, you are wrong. Autoban and permaban has their differences. Check this out:

I do not want to argue about it, bruv. However, have you check what you have sent? or I am not clear of what I have said? Anyway, I will just leave this quote below for you to check what we are talking about:

All bans in the modlog are autobans, and permanent.

This is what I was talking about:
Quote
Autobans ban the account involved only, you can still log in and do everything normally, just can't post or pm. It also adds units of evil to the IPs used, a new account created using these IPs will need to pay a fee. Units of evil increase with additional bans. Nuking is essentially an autoban+deletion of posts.

Quote
Manual bans are only available to admins, and are generally configured the same way as above, though it's possible to increase the scope of the ban to include things like registering from certain emails/providers, ips, subnets, hostnames, etc. Can also add multiple accounts to the same ban. It's also possible to prevent banned users from logging in at all using the banned account, this will prevent them from being able to read the forum and access pm's too though

Report to Moderator will not cause Permaban for copy pasting.
^^^You are wrong with this one. With my experienced, they are permaban or autoban when you report them to moderator, kindly see some examples below:

Banned
Code:
Autoban user: N/A in topic #0 by member #2306270
Autoban user: N/A in topic #0 by member #2109896
Autoban user: N/A in topic #0 by member #2183376

Since more banned users are complaining or in need of the reasons about their ban, I put red trust to a plagiarist just to lessen the work of any staff or any users to find out why (they just need to check the trust history – I am not a DT member, so, they can check “Untrusted feedback”). Some or previous reports about plagiarism have no tags or when I am lazy. Smiley

Good luck!

See you around.

Please if you find another posts like this, then it is a post that can be reported to a moderator. Just use the "Report to moderator" button and add the comment like "duplicated posts, see thi " when submitting the report.

Furthermore, you can read this beautiful guide made by Welsh about how to report effectively. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/guide-reporting-effectively-4519248

Next time either use the "Report to moderator" button (for simpler cases like this one), or post in the Reporting copy/pasting mega thread so the Meta board doesn't get saturated with reports about plagiarism.

You Both are wrong. This need to be reported at Mod, please check new plagiarism: Reporting copy/pasting, please permban.
Report to Moderator will not cause Permaban for copy pasting.

I verified it is indeed copy -pasting and already reported on the behalf of OP.

Merit abuse is not moderated. This would also be considered an off-topic reply.

Snip

This is part of the growing trend where anytime someone does anything beneficial to the forum they want a reward.

The only way to do that is create a pointless thread for what already exists. Only problem from their point of view is that by posting there or just using "report to moderator" and citing the source, they won't get any recognition.

Cardano, founded by one of the first Erthereum developers by Charles Hoskinson, is a decentralized platform that provides a reliable and scalable complex programmable transfer of value. It is based on technology designed to create a new decentralized economy and democratize finance in emerging markets. Cardano seeks to become a platform for smart contracts by developing a new functional programming language known as Haskell, which allows "to write in a more secure and reliable way because it has a mathematical approach." It will surpass the etherium, I believe it.
