Don’t have time to research on the basics? Then you might want to quit the trading then. It’s very illogical that you do not want to invest your time on learning the basic stuff then how could you invest your quality time in trading? If you have money then in fact you should be enrol yourself in nice trading courses, gain bigger knowledge base. Yes we do have copy trade in existence but do you really believe in handing over the money to trading platform just by looking at someone’s trade? The better yet to come, you could end up in a copy trade which could become zero and they won’t be responsible for it. Invest wisely.

...I've been working on a project to develop a Telegram bot for copy trading but struggling to find succesful accounts/traders to follow and generally just don't have time to dedicate to it. Suggestions or existing projects out there instead of building my own?

A free copy trading option is now available on many exchanges. As an example, I can recommend the Bybit exchange, where you can filter out traders who are connected to this service by various parameters - https://www.bybit.com/copyTrade/ Here you can also simply subscribe to watch the trades of a trader who is of interest to you.

My encouragement will come from two perspective indecencies that either you venture into the one that caused you harm if it turns to disadvantages, because building of a site required time Factor and also involve capital to execute your plans to be actualized.so it's acknowledgeable to work strictly to an existing project and it's supposed to take place of investment after you have microscopic the system of the investment.

Yes, that is what he said. He is going to build a bot on his own. It only becomes risky if you rely on other's work but if you're the one who do the job then the risk will get lessen. Not all in telegram are scammers but there are still legit which can help you make money but expect that most of them are not free.

It works like that because the people behind it dedicate time, effort and skills to find the best method for their customers and also for themselves. For copy trading I think it doesn't happen in telegram itself but I think it happens on some platforms like crypto exchanges. Just only be careful on who we are following. Always test them first with smaller amounts.

Correct. I'm also integrating other feeds into my bot that I can't discuss here.

Update: I started expirimenting with a small test amount as many in this thread have suggested. I can say I've had moderate success thus far -- about 5% growth with 24/7 trading in past week...obviously, not a long enough time horizon to claim any kind of proof of concept, but certainly better than had I left even this small test amount in BTC for the past week. Also better than many of the top traders on binance did for past 7 days. I'm going to double this small test amount over next week, make some tweaks to the bot, and will report back.

Do you mean you are making a telegram bot for copy trading? Did I understand what you said correctly, friend? It seems that the exchange of what you pay the employer for your skills is good and take note Bitcoin is also the payment for you.

But you know in my own honest opinion, I don't trust telegram bots. Because I have not seen anything in this crypto industry that can prove that a trader made money because of the telegram bot. I'm sure you know that too, and for you, it doesn't matter if anyone who believes in copy trading using a telegram bot doesn't make money.  Because most of them become nests of scammers to prey on innocent investors who enter the world of cryptocurrency trading.

This is going to be difficult, you are going to be hard-pressed to find successful traders at telegram since it is full of scammers and people promoting their pump and dump groups.

An idea with more potential could be to look at the different exchanges and their APIs and copy the trades of the best traders there, however this will also be difficult, because if I was a good trader I will do what I can to disguise my activity as a way to not reveal my strategy to people like you which are interested in copying my trades.

Are there well known techniques for disguising activity to block copy-traders? I'm curious to learn more about this

There's a lot copy trading or robot tools to help your trading experience, but it doesn't mean if you don't have any trading experience and only use that's tool or copy other people trading strategy will make you to earn profit by trading. Most people right now only looking for an instant way or shortcut in order become a rich person, while actually it's really need a lot experience and knowledge to become a professional trader.

Learn about trading first, if you lose after use copy trading or robot tools, don't call trading or the coin is scam.

some exchanges do have features for copy trading. it makes it possible for traders who publish their trades to be copied by other users.
the difficult thing is to analyze the accuracy of the plans made by other traders.
I prefer trades that I manage myself rather than simply copying someone else's trades to get instant results.

It's clear that if you risk your payment of income to trading and do that for copy trading to whoever you think is good, or whoever someone says is good, then you are going to lose your income. First off, start by putting some aside in bitcoin and do not touch it, I always put some money aside in bitcoin, I get paid in btc when I work as well, and that means I have some bitcoin savings.

After you have done that, try to spread it to eth, and when you have enough of that then bnb, and keep doing that down the list. It will allow you to have a good list for sure, won't be easy to handle but it's going to be good for you instead of a trading bot.

Why are you looking for traders? Isn't it better to make the application public and then try to find experienced dealers according to what they are looking for? I mean you can experiment with some dealers regardless of the result. The most important thing is the possibility of repeating trading orders accurately and in real time.

What if you are looking for platforms for personal use, then Bityard.com is good

Thank you all for your feedback. I'm going to check all of these out - definitely interested in binance leaderboard idea. My main problem was time. Given my other activities, I don't have time to learn to trade my portfolio myself. There are no "professional" options out there, but beauty of blockchain is there are no secrative 'hedge funds' with political connections driving success. My theory is that I should be able to find the most successful traders and mimic their trades in near real time. TG use only because that's where I'm aggregating other feeds/projects and plugins with my wallets.

I may try, as some have suggested, expirimenting with small amounts across multiple platforms.

eToro's probably the only decently reputable platform that I could somewhat recommend for this. On the other hand — if you can wait, a platform called STFX(.io) is being developed; apparently with on-chain trading as well if you don't like AML/KYC.

A thread from yesterday: Tool to copy-trade Binance Leaderboard.

Quote
In order to provide auto-copy, we use Binance API.

Well, I like the concept, if it's possible to copy trades from the Binance leaderboard? But when it's come to safety and security and I a not sure about these copy-trading bots at all! The guy that offers such a bot in the other thread is charging $29 per month. That's ok, but why he needs that if that bot works fine and generates profit? Why share it at all?

I've been working on a project to develop a Telegram bot for copy trading but struggling to find succesful accounts/traders to follow and generally just don't have time to dedicate to it.

Is one thing to be dedicated to building your telegram copy trading group and another thing to get traders to follow that up. It is not a big demand for traders to follow copy trading, so if you have the idea of making profit from it definitely you are going to have a low turn out. Although, it is good to have copy trading for cryptocurrency because I know almost all forex platforms have such facilities, it is still something new with cryptocurrency exchange.

Bityard.com seems to have a copy-trading feature. I've used this feature. but haven't used it in a while.
I don't have much experience. maybe the OP is interested in trying it, but better do some research first.
I'm not suggesting, just sharing information. there may be other members who also have experience trading on the exchange?

I have noticed some copy trading in forex, but not yet in crypto and I have not noticed anything like that yet on the exchanges that I am using. In forex, there are trading platforms that have such option. Also if I remember correctly, i have seen such in stock trading before. I do kit know how it is but i know copy trading is usually used by traders that do not want to learn, trade and five money to those providing copy trading on trading platforms. I can never do copy trading.

About copy trading with telegram bot, you can get those that trade often and have most accurate result if possible. Or start to learn how to trade, gain months of experience and see if that is possible from you. But I will not expect people to believe you or in copying trading because many new traders have tried it and failed.

Look at etoro. AFAIK, they're the first ones that has this feature, and then many have liked the idea of just copying because they think that it is "passive income" for them without doing anything.
But the actuality of it is that, whatever happens to the trader they've copied, it'll also be the result of their trades. So, it's not always about winning and some unexpected losses may come even the trader is an expert.

Why some traders believe the robo for the signals and trading of coin using own money. The programmed robo may make some mistakes, you should do some many trades to earn more profit from it.Learning in the trade is the very important one.You can trade with minimum of 10 dollars in many exhanges. Some exchanges offering some demo account for the traders with less knowledge in the trading.
