I also don't think that the copy/paste article+reference link without any comment or added note should be allow to post as it does not mean anything but to add a post count on the account, I think more of it as qualified plagiarism. I see that the first link poster is already banned and the other is not yet banned but sooner or later he will get proper sanction.
No, you are wrong.
You will not be banned as plagiarism if you use quote or leave links to original sources.
Those users got banned because they did not leave sources to original sites/ articles at beginnings. They only did it when someone gave them how to do it (I guess so). You can see those topics were edited (......).
I checked. The others gave warnings to OP in second posts of those topics. Sure, they got banned because of plagiarism at beginnings.
There are other things moderator who handle reports of plagiarism will consider before using their Ban Hammers.
If one does not know rule asks for sources, and edits initial post with sources, I think he or she will be fine. Nevertheless, if he/she repeatedly does it in 5, 10 posts/topics (without source intially, then edited when the others found sources and comment) I think he/she deserves bans because there is no excuse for plagiarism when you clearly know what you are doing and clearly know rule on plagiarism.
With or without reference link as long as he did not put any effort on posting by just copying/pasting it that should be consider as plagiarism or at least prohibited on this forum to avoid incompetent posters.
Wrong again!
Plagiarism is when you steal words or any kind of 'products' from someone else without links, sources, quotes, and ask for their permissions (like campaign OP formats).
With low- or zero-value posts repeatedly, users can get banned but sort of bans is temporary as I know.
