If I hire a developer for a developing a gambling game how much it will cost me? I just wanted to know so based on replies I will take the decision  that should I invest in this project or not.

I've a site to sell. Here's the URL: https://is.gd/EZIP5U

Let me know if you're interested. Otherwise, you could buy my other script at Overfeat.com which does have around 3-4 provably fair games and a faucet and raffle.

Areeb has developed a couple of bitcoin faucet scripts (with gambling option, dice games and many more).

http://inculutus.me/products.php

https://overfeat.com/

I would highly recommend him, very good service. You can contact him through Skype. The price is not too high either.

I agree, Areeb is very good, uses PHP a lot.
He usually charges around a Bitcoin (1 BTC)

Also he's a real fun guy.

What if I do not create a gambling game but some kind of other multiplayer game (non gambling) for a faucet website how much that game cost me? I want a game get developed at low cost should be within $400-$500.
I have good business ideas but I need funding so can go for big games from scratch if that game cost me $5000- $10000 .

Probably a little cheaper, I'm sure you could hire a dev to build something for you in that range. The more features you want, the more it will cost. A lot depends on your skill set as well, so if you need someone to do the server deployment as well, consider that too.  You'll need someone to do the full stack for you on the server as well as develop the whole game solution (front end, database, back end code). Really what drives the high cost (gambling or not) is something unique, quality, and not available for mass duplication.

Getting anything of quality is going to cost you, but there's a bunch of scripts you can buy today for that price range ($400-500), check out the digital goods board:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=93.0

If you need installation help, you can find someone in the services section:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.40

I know the ones from Johny1976 work well and have some faucet functions too. Someone did pirate his scripts and put in some backdoors, but the ones he has on cointoli are the real non-backdoored versions.

Depends on the game,number of hours,developer's skills and most importantly your requirements.
Hiring a developer sounds absurd.If you look at it practically,you need to segregate developers as
->BackEnd
->Front-End
->Database
(if your project needs to be scalable with API's)
All the above mentioned may vary in cost depending on the skills of the developer.It all ends upto how much you can invest,knowing the fact that quality comes with costs.

It depends on the features you want and how elegant your design is. My suggestion would be to take an existing site, use that for a functional specification for the features you want to have (poker, provably fair, etc) and then either use another site or the same site to pattern the design off of for a user interface (responsive, etc). Your big issue though is trusting the developer to not put in any hidden back doors or leave in a vulnerability so they can win the game. So you would probably want to hire someone else after to go through the code for any of those things and do testing as well.

I'd recommend you get some quotes from a developer in the "services" subforum and then get some outside quotes on freelancer or upwork for fixed-priced bid project. You'll also want to reserve some support coverage as well to address any bugs that are found during testing. Make sure you draft a scope of work of the features that you want included. Consider using an escrow service too, so that you and the developer are covered from a cut and run, the dev is going to want a percentage up front, usually 30-50%.

Probably a rough order of magnitude is somewhere in the range of $5k - 10k for a "built from scratch" solution, but I'd recommend that you just buy a program that's already been developed and tested independently. There's a bunch out there, just do some research and you'll find them.

i know a good develop to write the script alone with the rate of around $10 per hour plus don't forget about the marketing cost and how much it will need for your bankroll. with current bitcoin price maybe you will need around 50btc to start it fully functioning (bankroll included)

50 Btc is too much for a project it is almost $50000 as per current Bitcoin price for a game . I want to develop a card game which has good graphics cost besides development cost.

There are numerous factors involved as have been pointed out by many of the posts above.
If you're looking to make it simple and don't want to spend crazy amounts by hiring a single development team then perhaps look at freelance sites and delegate certain tasks to different freelancers. It could end up with some flaws (which you'll need a pro to run through) but could save you a pretty penny.
Then again, if you want a one hit wonder then you'd be better off going down the route of using a select team of developers.

In this business payment may vary tremendously depending on what this 'developer' must achieve.

I will show you what matters here:

- What kind of developer are you looking for? What kind of project is this? We are talking about small project then you want to have skilled ace of all trades here.
- In big developing studios we have: graphics, designers, programmers, sound effect engineers, animators etc. - you want all these jobs to be done by 1 person?
- Depending on the amount of responsibilities of developer - payment for the job is increasing. The more complicated project is - payment is increasing... and so on.
- If you have limited budget you may want to hire someone from 3rd world country...

I know how much skilled developers working in real game studios earn - €4.000-€5000. But you probably won't hire, nor need someone like this.

A lot of the cost is going to depend on the complexity of the game and whether or not it is a custom project. It will be cheaper if the source code is available for purchase or open source, but games can be expensive if developed from the ground up. You can expect to pay top dollar for a skilled programmer to work on the project. Consider adding your project description to http://bitcoinbarrel.com/go/cryptogrind and see what sort of bids you get.

It's not the development that will cost you a lot of money , It's more like the the BTC that you should have in order to pay the players , and as a start , you might have to proof that you have funds with a signed message . If those are taken care of then a security is something else to think about , the funds will be kept in a hot wallet In order to pay users so security should be your first priority In this case.
Obviously I know that without fund any business can not be started that is why I'm asking in forum so I can collect some knowledge that how much money required for running a gambling game. If I can bear initial investment from my pocket than I'll go for this business and if not than I'll think something different.
