Yes crypto-currency value can be increased like Gold because there is a logic behind this. We all read in economics value of anything depends on supply or demand and in crypto-currency market demand is increasing day by day so it will definitely boost up the value of crypto currency.
In my opinion, it will. In fact, it is. The price increment of crypto currencies is bring boosted day by day. If study the basics of an economy, it tells us that the more is demand, more it will begin to get successful. Comparing it with gold is a good and a valid thought. It will rise with time.

The difference was with gold there is only 1 product , with crypto's there are so many.

Be A Digital Miner
Price grows when something is in demand. Cryptocurrency allows to avoid bank sphere and government financial regulation. Every now and then people talk about privacy and safety. I suppose in some years crypto will be much more in demand and this causes to huge amount of money poured into cryptomarket.

Given all these bans happening in the crypto-currency space,

Could the digital coins like ETH and BTC increase in value, sort of like Gold post 1933.

Or like the price of alcohol during prohibition era.
