Hello guys.
I think Bitcoin talk is breeding ground for a lot revolutionary ideas.
So where else to find interesting points of views. Yes we live in a world where a lot of people think in binary yet no I hope that no harm is done by just talking or contemplating the idea.

Seeing what is going on in a world. Seeing two world superpowers both  having half of population brainwashed daily be it russian state owned media for power or us media for profit.
I can't help my self and just think.

There is not that many politicians/influencers/media clowns . So what if we slap number of lies number of times they voted against people and for corporations in front of their names
Lets call it track record badge. Lets create chrome plugin that will retrieve and show this badge detecting their face on youtube twitter fb newspapers or tv you name it.

But how and who decides what is truth and what is lie you say?

If we leave binary thinking and terms such as truth/false what we are typically left with is just Claims.

Now imagine we create immutable undeletable blockchain of said Claims.

Perhaps every claim of public servants first.

Say you claim "the sky is blue"
you can decompose this claim to subclaims to smaller and smaller subclaims (wiki like clickable links to blue and sky) until you arrive to atomic claims.

Atomic claims like Blue is color interpreted by retima in light spectrum of in frequency as defined by international standard x .
for each claim you need to reference source etc and so on to lowest level. So even sky is ble would be pretty big and deep graph.

for  any math claim you just reference independently verifiable scans of works of famous mathematicians . an NFT ?
Or for any advance in physics  you provide independent lab  test results confirming theory.
where age paper publishing trackrecord or source of influence or funding is multiplied by claim
Since we remember oil corporation paying respected academics to publish papers that there is no global warming.

etc.  I am just brainstorming here.

In the end the end result would be realtime detected and shown Lie as qr code to url where everyone can walk and manually verify all claims and subclaims it is based on.

Marked as lie not because just one source said so.

But because zillion of weighted subclaims of as many as independent as trusted independent factcheckers/ truth miners multiplied together didn't result in zero.

why subclaims hierarchy ?
Idea is that any high level claim should have weight as multiplication of all subclaim weights. I.e if any subclaim is zero then any resulting claim should have zero weight.

I guess something like git should work here
where goal is to improve weight by removing bad sources and adding sources with more weights pretty much forever  as new and better revision what we globally agree on.

I.e any theory is valid until no better one is found.

In other words. Typical tactic in misinformation is to slap it to some obvious big truth to evade our defenses.

Like famous "fake news" where indeed corporate media trust is gone
and the famous fact that gerrymandering is in a sense stealing of elections by both sides.

By staying in gray area the Lie typically successfully evades out binary filters and succeeds in delivering poison to millions.

Why i think this could work even in first stupid form?

politicians repeat the same lie over and over and misuse our busy lives and 24h news cycle

track record badges for even the most obvious 1000 time debunked lies cant be that hard. we can use gpt3 to detect intent even if politician changes sentence structure or wording.
we can use gpt3 even for implied hints etc. ai will in that sense used only as stupid voice recognition the fact checking will be done offline by miners in blockchain of truth.

So what you guys think ?
Idea too stupid ?Grin

But considering what is going on with planet and wars I believe yesterday was too late.
here is my horrible article attempt https://hackernoon.com/saving-democracy-with-tv-ai-realtime-fact-checking
I tied to put together, but blockchain stuff is near the end only,  and only a few lines simply because I am not that well versed in blockchain or crypto.

I have yet a lot to learn from you guys.

Can't wait to see what ideas we will brainstorm from this
