Topic: Could Mooncoin compete against Doge in future ? in value (Read 1020 times)
Well, stability in price is a plus point, but so is widespread adoption. It's hard to compare coins with a finite cap to doge, which could potentially have no price floor as the coin continues through inflation.
Does it actually have any volume worth mentioning?
With Dogecoin's inflationary model, coin for coin, I guess any alt can compete..

Volume isn't a "meme". It's an indicator of coin movement. If the coin isn't moving, then it's dead. While on its own it's not an absolute indicator, if nobody's buying mooncoin, then it's dead.

Moon can't go lower - and even if its de-listed , someone will list it - so you could say it can't go any lower agreed?

Doge is all hype it was hyped from the start - its got a couple of BTC holders trading back and forth and that's it, to all intents a purposes it IS mooncoin but with more hype.
what happens?
it only takes a group of developers to make moon into something more than it is now (which is nothing) , and the market sediment for that only increases with time - with Doge sure they can polish that turd a bit more but adding "features" to it now won't bump it its still going to probably find the same base that Moon did - so at a point they cross.
unless Doge tried the "I'm a monetary economist" and changes the cap and parameters in which case very much hurts confidence (the little its got)
and that's what i was talking about, i'd much rather hold Moon than Doge - everyone recognizes the Moon bro. i'd pay with Moon.

I definitely see Moon overtaking DOGE and challenging LTC in the future. The dev is hard at work and the community is the best. It also has the best brand name to go to the moon and being the official moon currency. It's a long-term winner.
