Hello,
My faucet link: http://bitcoinbar.xyz/
Everything is fine here, but when users solve the solve media captcha and click on the get reward button, it says, "Could not open socket".
I have tried to use recaptcha by google, but when users solve it and click on the get reward button, it says, "Invalid Captcha Code".
Is there anyone, who can help me for this issue?
Thanks.
did you check public key and private key? Did you check that the public key and private key is related to the domain on which you want to add captcha? I'm asking this question one time this issue happened with me, I had done everything correct my public key and private key  of Google recaptcha was correct but the captcha was still showing wrong because both key was belonging to my other domain.
Hey, this problem is not with keys. The problem is with your web host. It happens if you use a free web host. Long time ago, when I used free host, I faced the problem. Then I have purchased a good web hosting package and now everything is fine. Smiley

My faucet link: (edit: i cant post my faucet link coz got suspicious..lol)
I also got same problem with alamin99..Im using faucetbox script with free hosting provider.

When using recaptcha..some user will get the invalid captcha code notification. And when used solvemedia, will get could not open socket notification.

So i did ask others faucet owner and most of them also feel a bit weird of this issue. Lucky i found this post and got alamin on9 at the same time. If any1 who come to this post for the answer to fix this issue

The answer is change your hosting provider

Why am I getting a "could not open socket" error?
The error that you are seeing means that your webserver is unable to establish a connection with our servers.

First, try pinging verify.solvemedia.com from your server. Your server must be able to communicate with servers associated with that address. If pinging fails, check your server settings (firewall, etc.) to make sure that connections to verify.solvemedia.com are not being blocked.

Some web hosting services have policies that restrict outbound requests on port 80, which our PHP library currently requires. Your hosting service's policy and restrictions are entirely up to them and beyond our control. We will continue to explore other implementation options, but for now you have to resolve the issue with your hosting service.

If your hosting service does not block requests on port 80 and all your settings are correct, but the problem persists, submit a trouble ticket.

I don't use FaucetBox for my sites but I do have some experience with it using Google reaptcha. I guess that the private key and public key is wrong and that is why the API return 'invalid'.

I recommend to ask to Kazuldur, owner of Faucetbox service. He always helps faucet owners when they got problems.
