As people try to reduce their impact on the planet, the blockchain world is also trying to go green. Traditional mining uses a lot of energy and hurts the environment, so new blockchain platforms are being created to fix this problem.

Do you think this is a good idea? Will big blockchain companies start using these eco-friendly methods, and how will this change the industry?

The age of projects jumping on the "eco-friendly" narrative are over imo. Since the ICO phase in 2017 bull run, plenty of projects have come forward with plenty of promises about how they're revolutionizing blockchain via clean energy /greener solutions and at least 98% of such projects that I can recall all failed. Except SolarX is making Bitcoin's mining more efficient and green, I don't think it would make plenty of difference enough to get people to want in.

Environment friendly mining is an old concept and it didn't work well and most projects died down after POW mechanism was replace by POS. There are a few coin in the market that are still using mining and I don't think that launching a new solar mining project will work in these times.
it didn't work well because a crypto project these day value more about hype than quality. If the dev can manage the project well and gives incentive for holder to stay without just a hype then it will survive

I thought it can be used to mine other coin/token, but it said it will be used to mine their token. Who wants to mine their token anyway? wasted opportunity here. If the device can mine multiple coin maybe it will get better reception

Yeah it could mine multiple coin asides their token. Saw it from the whitepaper op posted .https://solarx.ai/whitepaper Though its a new concept but I think they should be given the benefits of a doubt. Their token SXCH price trend isn't bullish yet, but judging from the activeness in their TG community I'll be watching this. Their admin also posted about collaboration with Bitget to feature their token on PoolX> their new launchpool product. That might give the token more visibility moving forward. Like I said. Fingers crossed.

Obviously it is. Anything that could help reduce the detrimental effects of climate change in our world, why not? Lots of industries are trying to go green and reduce their carbon emissions so it’s high time that cryptocurrency also tries to ride the wave and practice environmentally sustainable ways to continue operations.

They would once they find something that wouldn’t affect too much how they operate. Making profit is still their #1 priority and if they don’t find a way to let the two coexist then they would most likely not do it.

You need to understand that it is just a name and their utility might tend to fall to that direction.
Many projects we are in the market now are POS and that is why many of them allows staking the make the tokens more stable with more support to send it burning. We have been hearing if burning of tokens, this is one of the way to create more bonds for the token so that the price will not crash as soon as possible. Proof of stake is just a wake of adoption to the solar seasoning because it does not requires consumption of large energy.

Every innovation is a good idea, for example creating a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) mechanism which is considered more environmentally friendly than Proof-of-Work (PoW). I've looked at WP from SolarX, it looks like this project could be a good L-1 project with the fundamentals on RWA mining that they will have.

The problem nowadays with crypto projects is their execution, even if they have a good idea as a game changer, but if they're not able to execute all the plans, it's the same as 0. BTW, thanks for sharing this information, I'll look deeper & monitor the project.

If you are looking for the masters of sugar coating a project, please give it to altcoins because majority of them are base on hype and trend, as soon as that phase passed, you will see how those projects will be forgotten, some Wil find it hard to produce a green candle in the chart in the weekly or monthly candle except when the Rema is cooking some update for people to buy the rumors and then sell the news and after, it goes back to default sleep mode.

Just know that most of this English are just on paper when they are not launch yet, things will change when the coin enter the market. Artificial intelligence are going to shape the world the way we are seeing already but some aims and objectives of AI are below scope of studies for now, maybe in the future things are going to change.

I have seen that kind of project that they are for a greener environment but I don't know where the majority if not all of them.

As I've said, most that I have seen aren't remembered today and if a project wants to make the environment greener, it won't be with blockchain technology but with methods like recycling, segregation of waste, planting of trees and etc. Not with a blockchain project that only wants to garner fund for their tokens.

If there's a significant improvement that will help the planet then why not? Good idea will provide us better future and bringing this into consideration has no problem as long as sustainable towards every human being. The problem on this matter is how to let everyone adopt the concept of greener solutions, many people doesn't even knowledgeable of crypto yet. The first thing to do is educate everybody in order to make it more easier and soon Web3 project like this will be famous.
