Yes, the project the OP is asking about only has very small social media communities. Check their official links. In addition, the game Tom Talk has only 115k monthly users.

Also, the 'TOM Early Access Market NFTs' collection on GetGems has 0 total volume. I don’t think there are any interested or enthusiastic people about this game, which I’ve never heard of before.

Even the domain's age, according to Whois, was created 55 days ago, and they may indeed be infringing on a trademark, as Hispo mentioned. Also, CEX platforms have not announced the game so far, and the airdrop is supposed to be soon. So, in my opinion, It could indeed be a fake game, like many unoriginal and fraudulent games that exploit players, and they may not fulfill their promises. And the OP may have participated in Tombassador Program to promote them here.

Just heard about the Tomtalk airdrop because I'm not sure because I don't see the excitement in this airdrop, you shouldn't ask like that because we don't know what happens later if it's quiet from the community enthusiasts then Tomtalk will not make you able to profit even don't expect it.

Wrong, it wasn't during this announcement that Binance will support the TGE of Hamster Kombat but the hype that started with TON projects and the games that have been launched through it started with the success of notcoin and then followed by dogs. These airdrops have created the rush for most participants that have made some easy money from these airdrops and you'd see people hurrying with the ones that are also showing from the tasks they get from these apps.

A project won't simply become popular but they must have something that can captivate the user's interest. If not, well they will be needing a lot of capital and use it for marketing purposes. Anyways, about this project right here. I don't see anything that is extraordinary about them. I mean they are still like the old Hamster Kombat whose concept is tap-to-earn. So their only chance for now to scale on the competition is like I said earlier, or by having a good amount of capital and use it to expose their project heavily.

What do you mean? But, Hamster Kombat is not a new project anymore. If you mean about the listing of it in Binance, I think it already happened last time. Trends are just trends and they don't usually last long, so don't be surprised if you think they are now slowly fading. Half-billion market cap seems a lot even for a famous project like Hamster Kombat but if not more or it is lesser than that, it can also be an indication that the trend for projects like this are really fading.

This is one of the risks of the airdrops, especially if it was only free but that isn't as worse as losing money IMO. For those who got a good reward, may be they put much effort and then they also team it up with having a good capital.

but overall, the drops is too diluted too, just like catizen recent airdrop so many grinders who literally grinded every night playing the game only got peanut. but some also got good reward, I expect next ton games to be as much diluted if not more.

There are at least 20 similar Hamster platforms; if you're active, you'll know what I mean, and many of them are claiming to be the next big thing, so for those who are participating to not get disappointed, they should do your research. Even this is the trending platform in the community, we cannot be sure, Scammers will try to get in this trend and try to scam those who loves free money, There's always bad actors on every trend, we have proven it on ICO, IDO, NFT and MEMES.

I just thought, How will this Tomtalk be the next hamster kombat when hamster kombat has not yet succeeded in the crypto space? They did announce it, but they did it several times, which did not come true, and several changed the date of their pre-listing in the exchange.

If you have read all the information on their website, you should know that they will do an airdrop for their project, it's stated on the main page in the roadmap section. next question, will Tomtalk be the next Hamster Kombat? no, nothing will be Hamster Kombat 2nd to 3rd and so on. Other projects with systems like Hamster Kombat are simply impersonates, taking advantage of the existing hype to perhaps profit from it.

Not just tomtalk, there are literally thousands of similar and a bit different tap based games. Although non of them would come close to Hamster Kombat at it was unique (at least for telegram app) and pioneer. Other similar and popular alternative to Hamster Kombat maybe X empire, Rocky Rabbit or Gemz. But I don't think tap based games would have much success as compared to other type of games as they are more demanding and users would be spending time differently on different games. I rather focus on games that requires less time like Dogs (already sent airdrop), cats, duck, goat, etc. where user don't have to spend hours but just needs to open once or twice a day.

Don't know what you mean by "fake", but that was annoying as hell. I watched 30 sec their generic AI made nonsense in youtube and immediately voted it down. No matter if they pay or not, it's not going to be worth it, because some tokens just shouldn't exist (make that most tokens). They might give you the tokens but good luck selling them. And before you get it, you have done viral marketing for them for free.

And this was the first time i heard about this, and i already regret googling it and adding to visibility by doing that.

This sounds rather familiar, I think.
Is not Tomtalk the name of a popular game in the play store about a cat which mimics what the user says to the phone but with a high pitch tone?
I would be careful on investing money on a project which tried to use the name of a product/brand which they do not own in order to catch the attention of people. It sounds shady.
Unless this project is behind pushed forwards by the same team which created the application on the Play Store, which I doubt.

If it is proven this is rather an attempt to capitalize a brand/copyright which does not belong to developers, when I would go for the safest way and not get into that alledgedly future airdrop/distribution.

Many P2E projects have announced that the airdrop will end in September but they have also announced the exchanges where they will be getting listed in advance. I think this project might announce the name of the exchange just before the airdrop. It is better to wait for the announcement patiently rather than coming up here and creating a topic that encourages FOMO. No one will be interested is participating now as there aren't many days left for the airdrop.
