Japan is the best countries have more contributed for bitcoin and altcoin, always give positive respond and feed back for bitcoin become more profitable digital e currency payment for the future.
Maybe Satoshi is from there LOL, just kidding. It is amazing at rate which Japan supported cryptocurrency, Japan is known and respected to be producers of quality products compared to china, and for Japan to have supported cryptocurrency, they must have seen some quality stuff in it, and if Japan can wholeheartedly accept crypto, and it has not affected them in any wrong way, then I don’t know what is holding China back.

I believe japan will be the one to set a very good example for other Asian countries as regards the adoption of cryptocurrency. I have not seen any form of regulation from Japan on crypto, but yet they are still behind it, so why are other great countries like Japan being threatened, or could it be that they have some hidden agendas, that crypto could expose?

Yes, the country is a country that is friendly to Bitcoin.  And now more and more countries are friendly to Bitcoin like the Philippines and Vietnam, the two countries in Southeast Asia are also very friendly to Bitcoin, and those that are developing are Indonesia and Malaysia, they are also starting to show their interest and openness to Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency.

Gold and Silver can be purchased and sold for SIP US in your Ewallet.
What is so special about this is that you can choose option for delivery and your previously bought precious metals will be delivered to your doorstep.

These countries will also be kind of an example, there have been some before and countries which that saw others support crypto get taxes and support and economical positivity from it also replicated the same laws and the numbers grew but the more is merrier and it is harder to get from 1 to 2 countries but easier to go from 50 to 51 so the more countries there are the more countries will start to support as well.

Maybe china will not get supportive all of a sudden that is for sure and maybe Russia will become even more crypto friendly but in the end there are still some places that have neither banning of crypto nor supporting of crypto and we should focus on those countries that may see these ones as example and make changes to their laws to get some advantages as well.

The countries you have stated here is few compared to what I saw someone post in this forum, sourced from Wikipedia. There are already lots of countries that have declared Bitcoin as legal, and a few of them that are unsure about where they are going with Bitcoin, and those that have declared it as illegal are just a few countries. If you check Wikipedia you will see the countries where Bitcoin is illegal marked with red and the places where they legal marked with green, then the rest that has no rules are marked with Grey. The list is being updated as well.
it's true and my hope is also in my country, of course, the Indonesian government is getting more friendly and supports bitcoin and other crypto, because I am sure that someday if technology is more advanced then many bitcoin and other crypto will be used by many countries to pay and other -other

I do not see the United States on the list. This is the country, where the majority of Bitcoin and crypto holders live. Only statistically, over 12 % of the USA residents hold cryptocurrencies. And they manage to make money on it.
U.S, we are not talking about countries with crypto friendly citizens, the OP is talking about countries that their government is friendly with cryptocurrency and United State is the worst to mention here. If it was possible for United State to declare Satoshi wanted, I am sure they would have done so for the hatred that they have for cryptocurrency, the same way India hates crypto too.

The only thing that is just stopping United State from having any authority over cryptocurrency is because it has become a global thing, and also because the cryptocurrency, most especially Bitcoin has a technology that can never be controlled, stopped or damaged by any third party.

I think the country is not too influential if you only have Bitcoin and then use it as additional income (of course to always be quiet to use it). However, if there is a Blockchain / Cryptocurrency event I think that will have enough influence. That is why several annual events such as the Blockchain Summit are held in the countries on the list

if in that country bitcoin is legalized and there are many merchants that accept payments with bitcoin, then it can be called bitcoin friendly. many countries still prohibit the use of bitcoin, either only rules or already at the stage of user capture, fortunately in my country it is not that tight, but it cannot be said to be bitcoin friendly also.

I don't know where did this list came from. Or what statistics and sources did the person who made this based his judgment. But I can tell that there is a lot of countries that are more deserving on the top list for being friendly in bitcoin. Switzerland must be on the top 1 of the list since they are actually trying to become a crypto-currency and fiat free nation. Their startup companies are really great since almost all of their startup tech companies are blockchain.

It is a sign that countries were started to accept crypto currencies and in few years we can see huge name list.

But every countries have their own central banks so it might create some issues for their economy but if government this their welfare of their citizen is important they will support crypto currencies.
These central banks are the ones advising the government wrongly about cryptocurrency, and reason is because the issue of cryptocurrency affects the work of banks and also threatens their existence a bit, but it does not jeopardize the development of the economy in anyway.

Those countries that are cryptocurrency friendly could testify to that fact that there economy have never dwindled ever since they introduce crypto to their country but rather have increased their economy to a certain percentage. Moreover, this is 10 years that Bitcoin has been in existence, there is not country that have ever seen any negative effect on their economy, I don’t know why some countries are not just friendly with it.

Wow, that is a good step, if we have all these great countries adopting cryptocurrency within 10 years, then we should expect double of it in another 5 years’ time. Although these countries are small but they all have well developed economy, so if countries with very good economy can adopt it, I wonder why countries with large economy has not adopted the crypto and used it as an advantage to boost their economy.

Looking at the situation of things around, seems large countries are more threatened which they have shown their disapproval through some of their actions, you see U.S not approving operation of Bittrex in new york, Indian proposing 10 jail term for users and china banning miners, but yet crypto is still growing, these countries will eventually be the ones to loose at the end.

The countries in the list may be the ones that are openly allowed bitcoin to be use by their people but there are other countries where bitcoin are also allowed to be use in any transaction. Some countries in Asia aside from Singapore, Hongkong and Japan are also allows bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to be use by their citizens in their investments and other transactions.

Most of those countries are the best places to set up a cryptocurrency company.
They do not regulate you due to the industry that you are active but they treat you as an ordinary business.
Especially, Malta is the best place in the world to set up your business if you are interested in building something big with little political risks.

We hope that the list will be bigger and more countries will accept bitcoin, which will help bitcoin to be spread in all countries. That will give an impact to another country if the big countries can join and accept bitcoin too so more people will know about bitcoin. If it succeeds to get the big country to join, I think that the bitcoin will grow fast in all country and if that happens, we will see a new revolution in the economy and financial section.
Sooner, theres a lot of countries we have seen on this list will be added. I think if they see and read this some other countries convincing also. I cannot believe that why is that Japan, Russia and Philippines are not belong on the list.

More countries can be added, based on the data upon which the listing is done on the opening post. These days almost every country has got lot of startups that were completely focused on the blockchain platform. Based on that data we cannot conclude those countries were bitcoin friendly. Majority of the countries stay neutral in this without any form of legal support or opposition to the usage of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. To me Japan and Estonia are the one that has perfectly bitcoin friendly.

I also agree that Japan is a bitcoin friendly country because Japan itself has a lot of real adoption of blockchain technology, especially bitcoin. Maybe Japan is not as famous as bitcoin news in America, but I know this country is a country that has the most contribution to the development of blockchain, especially satoshi is claimed to come from this country.

and for Estonia I am not very sure and know a lot about this country, maybe a lot of ICO projects were launched from this country throughout the years 2017-2018. But I prefer Switzerland as the second country after Japan.

Not sure about every country will allow decentralized currency to rule their economy but if theyy do it will be good think for individual development but might be a great blow for the governments economy.

They won't, but one thing is sure, they want to take advantage of the trend and get profit while it is hot and booming so they will accept it as mode of payment or as a digital asset and encourage start-ups to in their jurisdiction.  More start-ups, more job, more taxes and more income for the government.  It is a mutualism effect where both party flourish.  Though I wonder other government cannot see this kind of relationship and thus they are hostile to Bitcoin to the point  proposing of 10-year jail to  those who are using it.

You can add Philippines on the list.  The government had started engaging with fintech development  and cryptocurrency.  The country also see Bitcoin as mode of payment and had approved several exchanges for cryptocurrenccy.

Yes, indeed. I expected to see Philippines on the list upon reading the title. Turns out, it wasn't there. But, with all the efforts of the Philippine Government to engage in crypto-based and crypto-related companies, plus the merchants and crypto exchanges, it can really be part of that list.

Even the Phil. Pambansang Kamao  Senator Manny Pacquiao had created his own cryptocurrency PAC coin.

Really? Wow. I did not know that 'til now. Senator Manny is really making his name in every aspect. Cool.

IIRC there is others celebrity who also have their own coins on that project, not sure about the development though.

Obviously, development (if that is even applicable to these trash coins) of 'celebrity' coins or just coins they endorse, are mostly pump and dump schemes. If they really cared about crypto, they would allocate money to the development of already existing (honest) projects instead of allowing themselves to be used as billboard in return for gross sums of money.

Andreas Antonopolous two days ago tweeted that he is being offered up to $250,000 by ICO's for his endorsement, which he declined, but many other influential social media characters will accept. This is the sad thing about a bull run, because these scammers can now afford to pay these sums of money again. If there will be an altcoin boom, $250,000 offers will become $1 million offers. Who is strong enough to resist these offers?

There are probably more than that, friendly does not have to mean that bitcoin is legal, just it being neutral is enough to make that country a place where you can freely use bitcoin and you can find a lot of people and a lot of businesses that accept it, for example in France bitcoin is not regulated and it is not banned but you can find a lot of places where you can buy things for bitcoin if you search for them and i am sure all of the eu countries as well have the same state.

I think you made the list yourself without seeing the wiki.
Good work for that.

But actually there are many more countries besides this. Like a lot lot more .

Also at the same time you know most major countries who allow Bitcoins are the ones who actually have a very strong economy and fluid government.

The governments who are actually banning Bitcoins are the ones of the developing countries, I don't think that's they can handle economics going down and up .

Oh man, you forgot to mention Philippines. This country has a good relationship in terms of using Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency where in fact they have regulated their own wallet for the sake of safety of their users.
Oh, that is right, I guess the op omitted that there because I learnt Philippines has even gotten to the extent of promising to pay their citizen Ethereum to clean their environment, this is more like openly declaring support for cryptocurrency, just that I would have loved they pick Bitcoin instead, but anyway, we are all still one body on cryptocurrency.

I don’t think the list is actually complete, I think he only listed those that has open declared their support for cryptocurrency, but we still have so many countries that are neutral about it, they allow cryptocurrency without condemning it, but has not regulated it, like my country.

Just look on how many subjected against the information that it brought us here. Yes, most of the countries included are crypto friendly but they still lack a lot of countries. Also look at the comments below that article, too many to mention.

Maybe only Japan is soft country for using bitcoin or altcoin as payment system, other country still do not accepted bitcoin as payment and only could use for investment.
Or we can say that people in Japan are open minded and and really knows what's best for thier beloved country.

First of all the list is very short but the wikipedia link gives more countries. If you look up on wikipedia about the type of legality
there are also levels, like fully supportive and behind bitcoin countries and there are ones that fully ban it but also there are countries in between those things, gray ones that have no legal laws that neither bans it nor supports it and there are ones that make it legal but doesn't support it and many more places like that.

So, you can't just say "legal" and move on, what type of legal and at what level of support does it see on those countries. About the Japan thing, if you think war makes golds go up but doesn't make bitcoin go up you are very wrong, a war makes your own national currency weaker and that means bitcoin will worth a lot more in your currency as well.

Where are the other two Tiger of Baltics?

Latvia/Lithuania - http://www.baltic-legal.com/blockchain-cryptocurrency-licence-eng.htm

Does Dubai ring a bell to everyone? They seems to be spearheading lots of crypto/blockchain activity as well. And someone mentioned Australia, yes, that's one friendly nation, it's the second country to adopt Bitcoin as form of money and payment.

Indeed, currently there are still very few countries that can be friendly to bitcoin, but I hope and maybe even in the future there will be more countries that accept bitcoin if we look at the development and popularity of bitcoin today.

Switzerland has a hundreds of blockchain startups. Don't you know that they are attempting to become a "crypto nation" according to Switzerland's economic minister. Aside from the fact that it is the one of the most competitive economies in the world it will not be surprising if one day they will dubbed as crypto nation.

Japanese oil tankers were attacked by missiles in Gulf of Oman. Japan people must buy Gold, if there is war.

Sell bitcoin. Buy Gold

You know that a lot of the physical Gold that governments are buying up is either coming in per ship or plane, right? It's an expensive and very time consuming process, where in most cases (specifically for that reason) the Gold that x country buys is stored in other countries, so they aren't even actually owning the Gold they have.

With some more momentum governments will start looking into Bitcoin too, but it might take a while because there are no billions of Bitcoin readily available, which are problems they don't have with Gold. Owning an asset is key with how custodians are an easy target for rogue governments. Don't own your private keys and physical Gold? You don't own these assets.
