A company is simply words on paper. Words on paper don't get up and make anything happen.

Your fairy tale is simply words on paper.

Words on paper don't get up and make anything happen.

Companies don't do anything. A company is simply words on paper. Words on paper don't get up and make anything happen. Then how do companies get anything done? People do the things.

In Canada like the US and UK, if a man hurts you (it wasn't the company), the man owes you. In Canada, use Queen's Bench to man-to-man make a claim against any man or woman who injures you. Quebec, being French, doesn't have Queen's Bench in their courts. If you have been harmed in Quebec, you need to go through the Canadian Government outside of Quebec to push Queen's Bench through to Quebec.

The best I have heard on the subject is Karl Lentz. Contact Karl through his website at http://www.broadmind.org/. Consider http://www.unkommonlaw.co.uk/ for UK questions, which fit most of Canada.

We know it isn't totally related, but we thought that some of you here might be interested in seeing how big telecom companies have disregarded the law in order to censor a web site which "competed" with their services. Mainstream media hasn't even really covered the story much, since their owners are the culprits.

Basically what happened is that several of Canada's biggest telecom companies were found to have broken the law and violated the rights of our founder, in order to destroy our community. They were ordered to return everything they unlawfully seized, and ordered to pay him $50000 for the inconvenience.

Instead of cooperating with the court judgement and returning his property (domain names and other stuff) they asked for a stay-of-execution from another court, meaning that they won't have to return anything until after an appeal can be heard, which could take more than a year to even begin.

The whole story is very intense, and we've been forced to reopen our web site on a totally new domain, which means our Google rankings are lost and most of our users don't even know where to find us (since we didn't require registration to use the site).

If anyone here has any ideas to help us rebuild, or want to give your support, it would be hugely appreciated. Even just sharing the story (or our new URL www.tvaddons.co) would be great.
