interesting idea but most people know the symptoms, so if they have a cough for example, they will do more research. And if they start feeling ill, they will call for help.

I'm a chronic smoker who lives ice cream but can't handle dairy. I guess I've got the covid.
The test does not ensure a guaranteed result, this kind of thing will make things worse because you will have false-positive result that may result in endangering other people. Remember that there are people who are asymptomatic which means that they are not displaying any signs that they are infected and this self conducted test will make things worse. Like what the quote says above, there might be a lot of factors that are needed to eliminate in order to get an accurate result, but at this time, we still do not know much about the virus that can help in making these tests accurate and credible, we may still use online consultation with a real doctor but right now, automated self testing is not yet a viable option.

We're dealing with an evolving virus, so we need to have evolving applications for that.
This is the worst fear we have as the number of cases keeps on increasing and the virus is mutating at an alarming rate because what i hear is that the virus that appeared in Wuhan is a bit different what we see in Italy as the virus is more aggressive and we are seeing that in the number of death and the nature in which the disease is spreading.

Yeah my answers for this make me severe risk.  The only good thing is the answers apply to Jan 1-20 dates so most likely I had it and it is over.

Congratulations!
