I think mining using CPU doesn't profitable. But if you want, try ETN or Monero coins.

Depending on your CPU or CPU's. I would recommend that you take a look around for newly started coins. First mover's advantage is your best bet I think.Here is a good resource for choosing the most profitable Cryptonight coins atm (https://www.cryptunit.com/) -I take no credit for this! Otherwise maybe look into Verium Reserve (VRM), Magi(XMG), HODLcoin.
My personal strategy is to mine and hodl a little bit of everything that is CPU mineable. And then hope for miracles :-)
