BiblePay is a great coin to mine for CPU, still very young coin:

BiblePay (BBP)
- 10% mined coins always go to Charity (already sponsoring 180+ Orphans monthly)
- ASIC-Resistant like Vertcoin/Groestlcoin (CPU Mining Only)
- fork of DASH (Masternode Governance, Proposals & Voting), 10% Monthly Budget for IT/PR/P2P Live
- Proof of BibleHash (POBh) algorithm, All Nodes are Full Nodes

Launched July 23rd 2017, Market Cap below 1 million, $0.0018 per BBP

To offer a counter point to what everyone else is saying. You can mine using a laptop, just don’t do it for an extended period of time. It is import to view it not as an efficient way of mining coins, but as a short term experiment to see if mining is something you want to dive deeper into.

The real danger is battery deterioration and overheating, which can become a real issue over an extended period of time. Batteries are only rated for a specific number of recharges in their lifetime and by mining you are drastically reducing that lifetime by recharging much more frequently.

However, I think laptop mining is a great way to test the waters and see if building a rig would be something you want to do. I personally started mining first on my laptop, got really excited about it, then built a bunch of specialized mining rigs a couple weeks later.

If you do decide to go this route, cryptonight coins fare well for CPU mining (electroneum, aeon, etc).

Most laptop CPU's wont be powerful enough to make mining with them worthwhile, you can search google for different CPU's hashrates mining Cryptonight coins and then use whattomine.com to check profitability.

Hey thanks for the feedback

But dont you think that mining newly created coins  using your laptop is a good idea considering that the coin would
1-have a great idea behind it
2- back by some big organization
3- has a good development team
4-small supply ...

You should stop thinking about mining altogether with a laptop.

Mining with a laptop will guarantee kill it. Laptops are not made for heavy usage like that and it will cook itself to death if you insist on mining with it. That and you wont make any money so you are really just burning up your laptop for nothing.

Hi guys

What are your thoughts on CPU mining?

Also what should i consider when thinking of mining using my laptop

Which coins should i choose? Where can i also find coins that are new of existence?

Is there a website that provides me with info about new coins and their difficulty rate and how much i will be able to mine per day?
