when all the cpus are at max load and your professor fails your ass. 
Not worth losing your job just to make $0.10/day.
You broke his heart and probably something else on his inner lack of knowledge, with all this talk about mining, the guy thought he could mine gold, diamonds with a cpu hehe.

I work in a computer in lab and there are 50 system (core-i3 + 4GB RAM). I know cpu mining is not much profitable but i am doing it just for fun and learning purposes (systems remain idle for most of time ..) Apart from monero is there any other ALT coin worth mining on CPU?

It really doesn't matter what do you have free electricity or not see if you might need to something that is not going to be profitable for you. You would have to literally switch back and forth between such low difficulty coins on a constant basis and all you're going to do is end up wasting your time for a handful of coins. If you do have free electricity and what you need to do is to buy it actual mining rig and use that.
