Old thread, but I am rebuilding my smallest rig tonight, which also happens to be on my heartiest CPU/mobo, so I plan on testing this out. Will post back if it works (probably won't if I give up, though).

Or you can simply use Win10, have a lot of Cpu miner software

As well as on Ubuntu

nvOC (UBUNTU) does have a CPU (configured for XMR at the moment) miner installed; have a look at it here

You can also request and install more miners as you wish; its just plug and play Smiley

Has anyone succeeded installing a cpu miner on the platform? Is it stable so far? I'm planning to complile and run optminer on my rigs.

Ethos is made for GPU mining AMD n Nvidia, i dont think we can mine with CPU on
