If you want to do CPU overclock, personally I can't suggest you that, it's not for your CPU and won't do much for long or even short term profit.
Since you have 6x gtx1060, why are you looking for cpu mining?
As other suggested you, sell them and buy i7.
But I would sell 1060 and buy 1070....

There are other CryptoNight coins out there that can be potentially more profitable than Monero for CPU mining temporarily, but that’s essentially true.

If you’re mining with an Intel CPU on Nicehash, though, it seems to default to HODL since Intel CPUs typically aren’t that great at mining XMR with their small L3 cache. Seems like it’s only been on XMR for a short time this month if you’re theoretically mining with an i7-6700 or even a 7700K.

My logic is like this.

I3-7100 cost $115 and uses 8w power
I7-6700 cost $200 more and uses 35w more when mining. Zcoin makes profit of 0.50c per day.

So the I7 will start to make me money after 400 days where the I3 will not. 3 months ago this little thing was making me $2 a day so I have paid it off a long time ago.

I have 10 rigs all with I7 mining and i bought a new 6x1070 rig just from mining with cpu's

we might never see such days again or tomorrow a new coin comes along that is very profitable on cpu's

My i3 6100 does 40-44 on cryptonight the algorithm in which Monero is based and which CPU can mine it. However for me it is not worth to damage an i3 CPU of 6/7 generation, sometimes in my home rig, I disable GPU0 for mining and use it for gaming while the other GPU-s continue mining. An i3 7100 will not do more than 60-65 h/s at best so that is like 2.2-3 USD a month and unless you live in a third world country this amount is ridiculous considering you are keeping your CPU at 100% of the capacity. In the end though this is just personal preference which changes from user to user.

Step 1. Sell the I3 and buy a I7 6700

it uses about 43w when mining 100% and you can get up to 650 Khs on zcoin. and if all goes as I hope cryptonight wiill be back. It also mines just over 300hs.

Same here. Using XMR Stak to CPU mine Electroneum alongside GPU mining w/ EWBF on 2 rigs. No stability issues between the two for several months now. Not making me rich, but otherwise those CPU would essentially doing nothing.

Run it in parallel with your GPU mining software.
Don't expect to earn a huge amount on one rig though Cheesy

because of dual mining will make another part must extra work. if single it mining can produce heat moreover dual mining. don't interpret I prohibit that but just to be noticed what will happen your rig.

if you want dual mining, those will make increase power consumption and instability on RIG. for the hashrate CPU depend on a processor spec.

Yes I was just saying that it is possible. Not that it would make any sense with a CPU like that.

On the other hand, If you got a rig with, for example, a threadripper 1950X CPU besides your GPUs it maybe would be more profitable.

Since we need to maintain the heat energy exposing from the cards we need perfect set of power supply and right cards which can be enough for power load of your SMPS. If you use the perfectmine os you can monitor on your remote itself.
Then you can able to select the pool to mine on any pool which have connected for your mining cards too.
