I've read that mining any cryptocoin on my Macbook could burn out the CPU from heat generation.

I'd like to mine some litecoins. Normal Cpuminer seems to work under 10.7 but SockPuppet posted some time ago a version that supports OSX 10.6 https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.654875
Unfortunately the Link doesn't work anymore.
I'd appreciate a lot to get it working on 10.6 so please if anyone has this 10.6 Version of cpuminer -> please post where to get it or email it me. Thank you a lot.
