Since you have only 2 post, I think it can be a clever scam since you are asking money for hints.

Probably is.  There is currently 0 BTC in the wallet now Roll Eyes  Surprise, surprise!

I guess he saw it didn't work, and ran Tongue

I've got to say it was a way better attempt than most of the scams in this section Smiley

Your Idea was very nice and this would have gotten a lot of attention but escrow.ms is right, since you know the password, you can very well answer this yourself by alt accounts.

But had that not been the case, still it would not have been easy cracking a 14 char code with upper/lower case characters and numbers.

Well, you can start by putting that $150 in escrow.
https://bit2factor.org/ is better
OP can chose a passphrase/Password and generate an intermediate code, which can be used by escrow to generate a bitcoin address and a encrypted private key.

But then again, who's stopping OP to claim those funds by using a multiple/alt account.

Exactly the reason I can't see this working.
Good to see innovating thinking though.

Yes escrow would be the only way I see this game ever happening.. And even then, it's going to require a lot of proof that it's provably fair, along with many other things.

Good luck tho  Cool

I've seen this sort of competition before, didn't see such bad reactions to them back then  Huh

How can i guarantee ?
I can sell the solution for $150 and start a new one Tongue

OR perhaps there is a way to escrow this ?
I'm willing to give a trustworthy mod to see the solution, no problem..
