It's a FUD. Then everything will follow if it will be successful.
If it comes to them, their followers might really do it and a chain reaction will probably happen.

Weak hands, weak brains plus fanclubs of this manipulators. Yeah bitcoin could really be dumped with that kind of mode.

Stay with your own course. Do not just believe this FUDsters.

I have read many articles like this and they are completely meaningless. They say publicly just to make us panic and sell BTC at low prices. then they will be the ones who buy all our BTC and they will pump its value back up.
This trick has been caught by me and it cannot affect me. Grin
This is an old news all tied one tweet of his. Its not even a tweet that literally says he will take bitcoin to 1000 dollars neither, he just stated that "bitcoin at 1000 dollars doesn't phase me" as in he needs to make his coin as the real bitcoin cash and willing to spend money to make that happen which means he will have to sell his bitcoins to create funding for his bitcoin cash war and that would result with bitcoin going down of course.

He didn't do it later on, he gave up on the war because he realized his coin will not win and he spent all that money for nothing and even if he kept on doing it there was no way of him winning because after a while even if you can pay a billion dollars to make your dream come true if there is no one that can deliver that hash for you then its a futile attempt.

Honestly the war can continue only for so long, there is no way the war can go on for another whole year or something. Also they have a limited number of bitcoins and other stuff in their possesion. Even if Craig has 1 million bitcoin like everyone says, he can sell ALL of it and destroy the market but its still a finite number of bitcoin and it will be finished after he sells it all which means there would be no more 1 million bitcoin sold and we would start to go up without worrying about someone selling a lot of bitcoins all at once.

The problem will still be there for roger ver and his crew because they are mining bitcoin constantly and not only they are making money from the mining rewards but also the transaction fee's go to their mining as well. So I don't know what will happen in the next couple weeks but I know on the long run we are fine.

True fact is that yeah he has plenty of Bitcoins but that doesn't make him Satoshi. He just triggered the FUD button and since we all know he has some control with the amount he has, market bears followed the sentiments and we all got rekt.

Again, it begs the question, how truly decentralized is all of this??

For me, a truly decentralized system should make it impossible for one power drunk individual to bring the market to it's knees. Anything other fundamentals i.e news should not be able to destabilize the market like we've seen in the recent times

Everyone keeps saying roger ver was the one that sold all that coins and made the coins crash but I somehow believe Craig was the one that sold it. Have you seen his tweet? He said bitcoin at a thousand dollars doesn't phase him. Even if what has been said is right and he has 1.1 million bitcoins which I think is not true at all, at 1000 bitcoins each it still worths about 1 billion dollars which is A LOT OF money.

Right now he worths over 5 billion which is even more money however at what point it becomes useless, I think he can afford a war with those guys and since he said he doesn't care if bitcoin goes to 1000 dollars than he might be the one who sold. Why would anyone say they don't care about the price unless they were the ones who caused it to fall in the first place?

What I'm wondering about is what is he expecting from these statements though? If someone believes that he actually did or could do this to bitcoin, why would anyone trust him and use his coin? because he's clearly not someone who should be put in a position of power.
No one will end up using BCHSV. It will crash when they stop pointing their hashpower to something that costs them like $50,000 a day at least. Mining BCHSV blocks is capital destruction.

As expected, hashpower from Bitcoin.com, BTC.com, Antpool and ViaBTC has gone from BTC to supporting the BCHABC chain, and it may last a couple of days, or weeks, all depends how stubborn Craig Wright is.

At least, the miners who were waiting for a spot on BTC's chain can now enter, and they can look forward to a difficulty decrease as well, what more can a miner wish for?

Well, I think this is just an excuse and he bought a lot of EB. He wants the whole market to buy the EB so that its price increases. In fact, he was in a manipulation group and he was manipulating the world through his words. If you understand his implication, you should buy BCH now.

We all know that he's not the real Satoshi and this has been proven so many times, clearly a scammer.

What else ? he wants us to recognize him as 'Satoshi'. It is all about fame and recognition, he is that kind of person always did everything that he thought it might affect or increase his reputation. he does not really care about the money but he really care about his image and always tried his best to prove that he was 'Satoshi'.
or

is he just an attention-seeker ?

No, this guy doesn't really have the power to dump down Bitcoins to that level, but after seeing this dump, I can say that he can definitely dump our brains into selling off our coins dirt cheap by believing that he is Satoshi and that he could actually plunge down BTC to 2014 levels. It's just that this guy is trying to stop miners to switch from BTC main chain (his SV concept) to Roger Ver's BCH after hard fork, but he should literally understand that miners have their own voluntary choices and they can decide which chain is more profitable as well as more smoother to process the transactions.*

* - By saying this, I'm not supporting BCH mining or chain at all, it's just what I feel that this should not go personal because if it does, then we can't really call it as something decentralized. I call for #RealSatoshi to show up and take control so as to revive the hope among the community that nobody here can control the Bitcoin market and that there can't be such damned manipulation.

Real Satoshi would be going against all known patterns to do that right now, and besides, think it would take a lot more than this (perhaps 2014 levels?) to convince him/her/them to come out. Not sure that would prove anything to the community though... If the point is to show Bitcoin can't be manipulated surely a reappearance with an agenda would only work to prove the opposite?

In any case, anyone who properly believes in Bitcoin has outgrown Satoshi. It's only altcoin people who keep thumping the white paper bible.
