This was not an issue with Electrum.

The OP had a slow pc and a wallet full of small inputs; it simply took a few minutes to create the transaction. The OP considered this to be a crashing Electrum process.

He left it running and the transaction got sent.

Use 1.7.4 version.

I use 1.7.2, when i update now, will i use my wallet? (i would install the new version in same folder)

Backup your wallet first and then update

Ps: I thought you are using latest version 1.8

Try 1.8 version, if you still get errors then use 1.7.4
