I think op is trying to promote the site by taking visitor from bitcointalk. As you know negative marketing is the best marketing, op is trying to do so. By this negative post it is working as back-link and visitors are going to their site. so, I don't think it is anything except advertising.

1000$ isn't a small amount of money while keeping them on an unknown exchange is really a big NO.
