This one went into the crowd and to be worse then other brawls it spilled into the disabled part of the on the court seats. Embarrassed
They still havent receive all the complaints and those fans possibly suing if they sustained an injury themselves.

More or less the players involved will be sanctioned by the league and would only receive fines, get under probation and receive hours for community service. Usually these things are settled out of court so I don't think anyone will get jailed on the side of the players but om the side of the audience and civilians. It's crazy how absurd these settlements get even though we know that the participation of the players is way too high compared to that of the audiences.

I've watched some clips on Twitter and man that's really nasty that some of the disabled viewers were caught up on the brawl.
So if the same thing happened in the NBA this would be covered by the league?
Even when it comes to someone in the audience who gets hurt or even fatally wounded from a thrown chair?
You always see players in the nba league jumping into the crowd after the ball going out of bounds. I would be terrified if I got a 6'6" player coming at me full speed, suffer a blow and not able to get compensated if I had to miss work.
I guess with your ticket into these games you basically are signing off your rights by entering into the arena/stadium to be a spectator.

On physical sports like basketball, expect it to get physical especially with a few arrogant and hot-headed players on the court. I've seen many brawls on amateur and professional basketball and perhaps the most memorable one for me is the Australia-Philippines FIBA World Cup brawl in 2018. It involved even the audience on the courtside and has seen some people under probation and some behind bars for a short period of time. Another one would be the Pistons v Pacers brawl in 2004, being startwd by Ron Artest and Ben Wallace. At NCAA though, players can also be rough yet still remain cool because it could be their shot towards NBA.

Last night's game Kansas city jayhawks vs Kansas state wildcats ended in a massive fight that one announcer said he never saw happen in all his 40 years of broadcasting ncaa basketball before. Only in the nba has he see it happen during detriot piston games. And yes I have seen it happen in the pros before but not as bad to have criminal actions occur in a result afterwards.
At one point you can see a player from the opposing side picking up a chair and it looks if he was going to hit another person with it.
Is this wrestling or basketball? Of course this player will possibly face charges if it stands. No chance to get to the nba if those are withheld.
What a mess. Sad
