Well, you sure make the case for BT3 in your first couple of sentences about Terracoin, don't you? Smiley

Yeah- I think the current problem (The 32 bit block syn problem someone messaged me about) with TRC make this case even more clear. There is certainly space for alt-coins that truly experiment with running the protocol itself, I don't have anything against that- but we need an alt-coin as well where we can be confident in the underlying protocol itself, IE: Bitcoin, where we don't have to spend time worrying about if the coin itself works, but rather can experiment with higher level things.

Anyway, I've been busy but I'll be more active on BT3/Bitcoin Testnet Three soon. At least it's not going anywhere!

Ahhh it is you Crazy Rabbit, you present very well, good voice!

You should do this more!

Very good conference. I have lots of respect for these guys. Even more for crazy rabbit now. You make a lot of good points Smiley

Of course respect goes out to Charles lee and Mark Friedenbach

EDIT: Not a fan of ripple but  I really liked Chris's response to the last regulation question.

Moderator: Morgan Massens, Panelists: Chris Larsen (Ripple), Mark Friedenbach (Freicoin), Charles Lee (Litecoin), Dennison Bertram (Terracoin)
discuss alt-chains at the Bitcoin 2013 Conference in San Jose, California, May 19, 2013, hosted by the Bitcoin Foundation.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Iir3_dYmK8

I want to root for him in all of this, but Morgan Massens did a pretty terrible job moderating that discussion.

I'll be at the Bitcoin Conference probably as a panelist on the Alt-Coin panel. I might do a little short lunch talk about adapting the experiences from the post-communist transition to starting new crypto-economies, but that's a might at the moment. The real world is preventing me from getting time to do my research.

In any case, I look forward to seeing everyone there and would be happy to get a beer with anyone who wants to talk Alt-Coins or even Terracoin!

I would have loved to have been there!

Yes his hair definitely goes with the "crazy" in his name.

He did a good job on the panel, despite the problems with TRC itself.

Chris on the other hand...tsk tsk tsk....lol

The FRC guy seemed too presumptuous to tell people what to do and not to..."don't pump and dump"...equivalent of saying "dont act free in a free market".
