my advice is use fiverr
you can start to raise trust in this way, bitcointalk.org and fiverr both

1$ is to low in my opinion, you can ask 5$ without problem
and add some "demo logos"

You are right. For one dollar you will probably get a logo that is worth one dollar. However if you truly deliver quality work you should be a little bit more cobfident really lift your rate up a bit because a logo for 1$ is practically slave labour. I would say that 5$ is a minimum rate (all the fiverr logo gigs are around 5$). But even that is a ridiculous price for a logo. In your country one dollar may be a lot but that doesn't mean you have to unbalance charge ridiculously low rates.

You are creating a logo for just $1!! Aren't you underestimating yourself way too much? Between it would have been much better if you had linked your portfolio.
