Aside from suspicious people who sell/give wallet.dat contains Bitcoin, there's no way to determine whether a wallet is "fake wallet" without decrypt the wallet itself.

Of course you can modify any file in a way that it will resemble something that it's not.

If you fall for that then that's a pity.

that wallet is my friend wallet and he immediately moved all bitcoin to different address.

As far as I know, you cannot fake a "wallet.dat" file. The closest thing one can (probably) do is running a Bitcoin network from zero on a local network of offline PCs and mining it using them, basically simulating the creation of BTC. (edit: seems like I was wrong, read reply below)

Scammer creating fake wallet.bat file that show balance in core wallet?
I came to know that some hacker can easy copy lost bitcoin transaction and create fake wallet.dat file.

I am not sure how true this story is and how this work
Anyone know about this then comment.
