It is same with coinmarketcap.any new feature ?

I think,Mobile app like portfolio better than market price

Hi Karim,

No offence, but please check the previous replies and the site. There are many changes compared with CMC.

The risk with Blockfolio is that it tracks & stores individual data. So, if & when there will be a hack, hackers can get access to personal data on coins you are HODLing. That's a big risk. Instead, I would prefer sites where I can watch favourite coins

Sunil

Did you test it with different browsers? I used IE at work and I could not see the fields to register a user on the site, it only displayed the cursor for you to type something. The box was also fixed at the bottom right corner and not in the centre. I tried to move it, but was unable to.  Roll Eyes

I would suggest that people use throw away email accounts for stuff like this, because it might collect data on what coins people hoard.

I liked the Homepage, because it loaded much faster than Coinmarketcap.com  Wink

I'm digging the site. It's very simple and clean, while solving the issue of historical data that is so poorly managed on coinmarketcap. Question for you; how hard would it be to create a "portfolio" where we can input the amount of coins we're holding and have a calculator apply the current value of our total holdings? Even more detailed request: Would it be possible to have a section that we can enter our addresses and have your site hit up the blockchains and return a value of our current balances? All without having to provide any sort of private key. Am I asking too much? Tongue

Outstanding. May I ask you how did you render those charts? What framework are you using?

Good initiative and a good start! But when I visit the website I want to point out 1 thing is that the "feel & look" of the website has got rooms for more improvements. When people feel easy on the eyes and get attracted to the quality design and layout, traffics usually tend to be more interested and check out further.

But I see great potential on this site and good job having this up. So we can choose the type of currencies and customise to what we want to see? Not a bad idea but it will be good to involve some analysis or tools that can assist in the analysis. We reason we check out CMC is to see an overview of the market, check out our tokens and watch out for potential tokens we've missed. I think more can be done for each of the tokens that we will be checking on. Good luck!

Thanks for the encouragement. We don't have a digital designer board yet. I would love to improve the UI & UX in the future versions.

We have already incorporated a useful feature on the site to support analysis. If you click on a coin, lets say Ripple, you are taken to a page where you find charts, additional info etc. The useful feature is that you can also compare the performance with other coins similar to google finance/yahoo finance.

Feel free to explore the site and let me know if you have any feature requests.

Finally, the market seems to be on the way up!

I have been working on a website to help us HODLers watch our favourite coins (without revealing our portfolio or holding) and I am glad to have launched it today:

Please check out http://live.cryptocurrencymarket.me to find

1. USD & Satoshi prices
2. 3 types of changes - hourly, daily & weekly
3. Ability to check prices in all major currencies
4. Drill down to the graphs of individual coins & compare them to other coins too in the same graph

Last but not the least, you can build your own watchlist and see only those coins on the page.

It's still in beta and I would love to get your feedback and comments

No offense but to me it looks like a clone of coinmarketcap.com with better colors, is there any difference which I cannot see?

Yes , create account and you can customized things as per your requirement.

And its a inital project , OP seems like developing more modules in coming future.

Stay tune.

That's correct. The major advantages Cryptocurrencymarket.me will have over CMC are that:

1. The list of coins is customisable as per your wish. You need not sift through thousands of coins on CMC to find the stats to find the coins of your choice
2. Clicking on the coin's name takes you to the site where you can add & compare multiple currency graphs. Eg, you can compare BTC, ETH & XRP growth on the charts. This is super useful and helped me make a few good decisions on which coins to buy during the dip
3. The price in native currency & satoshis are provided on the same screen. This makes it easy for all levels of investors and enthusiasts
4. There are 3 percentage change indicators - hourly, daily and weekly - this helps to know more about the recent movements of a coin and helps aid strategic decisions
5. We have received helpful feedback and we are working hard to launch the new changes

That a pretty good project! The design is good and I like the "available supply", I think it's a little detail but it can add a lot of value when searching for coins Cheesy
It's a nice to see the price but market cap and supply are much much more insteresting! good luck with your project!

Could you please add TLS/SSL? I would never use an account on pure http.

Regarding coinfan.net - what's your data source for the ICO list?

@KingScorpio

That USD part is fine to me and rest project. My main concern is about API usage. Because that is dependency of our project on other outsource , so somewhere a fear of extra usage ( limit of api ) or if that source gone down is there.

Because i too develop a site http://watchcoinprice.com/ for a client and it is 100% outsource API , Indexing of coins are based on Coinsmarketcap , and rest things from different sources. So any API can go down will lead to that page goes down or a whole bunch of module.

How to make independent project with our own datas from market ?

Because this project (Subject) is giving me a new scope so i am eager to know if there is any solution for it ?

These all data if are getting picked from an API source , then what will happen when that API source will become dead ?

This is what the main thing. How to get all data by ourself instead of using API from external sources.

oh thats easy there is a website/project they could use they automatically collect coin exchange prices, on multiple exchanges,

coinswap.io i think

but what really would be important for a future coinindex, would be a interface people can adapt themselves.

for example whats the use of an indian contractor supporting and earning foreign business if he has enough work already from local businesses, he would prefer having a regional affiliated listening order

many coins are globally oriented, others just regional, a coin index should have some ways describing those characteristics in a ranking order,

the us dollar ranking order might not be the future at all.

nice project, i wanted to create a better alternative to coinmarket cap since quite a while, but didnt found co-developers may i join?

in my opinion you will ned multiple ranking orders, because in the future the us dollar fixed ranking system is going to fade away, additionally what would be usefull yi to get rid of the ranking number at all and have a perspecivtive related order not a mathematically calculated one,

that is inevitable in the future, since the current ranking order only serves bitcoin and ethereum owners.

we can discuess details in pm
