For the most part, the way I see it, bitcoin is just money. What ever can be done with money can be done with bitcoin.

this would be a good way for people just getting interested in bitcoin... getting bitcoin is easy for the tech savvy put still complicated enough to stop the average middle-aged luddite
I was thinking of the same thing. Bitcoin would have much greater purpose and more respect as a virtual currency, rather than being the main currency on a website that sells illegal things (silkroad)
how would it deal with things when someone doesn't send the goods?
how long do you think it will be before a new ebay is created where people use btc? i hope its soon. just a basic household junk auction type of thing it would work wonders for global trade.
