We are currently building a simple swap system from BTC -> Cash. Small amounts that are basically instant for anyone who needs quick cash. What is a fair fee for such a service? would a small monthly fee work for unlimited selling? Thanks!

Anything between 0.50 - 1 % is a reasonable fee for such service. You can also check the competitive sites and see how much fee they are taking ?
But since your service will be new, you need to take less fee in order to gain the customers and trust with fair deals.

Yes, doing so.

What if every transaction a user make, you charge. Most exchanges do this.

Around 0.01% - 1% the possible highest that you can charge per transaction depending on the speed of your service. Just like how we adjust the fees when we're sending bitcoin, low fee for the normal speed, and priority fee for faster transactions.

Ah right right that make sense.  The service has only one speed which is instant .
It's you to determine how much you'll be putting in the transaction fee.

As long as it's justifiable that will be considered and you won't see complains about that unless things change and demand goes higher a bit.

A fair amount would be a small fee considering that you want to make a swap for small amounts.
Monthly fee is going to be good especially for the start in order to make your service popular to the crowd.

There is no 1% charge for creating new services there's more or less within the case of charge but not such a lot you'll choose Binance to make new services and list exchanges. it's a really popular site and lots of will comply with the exchange without the necessity to feature new sites Fees are much lower here  you'll easily answer these sites from other lists  you'll learn tons of data by watching videos on YouTube to find out better.

Not understanding this but thanks!

it's almost always a stablecoin on ether like USDT or USDC. Exchanges I'm thinking of are DDEX, 1 inch, binance, Switchdex, token store, some of the bigger ones i use. Switch/mcafee did a whitelisting i think started at $20 and went up as time went on

Even though to sell Bitcoin for cash has the network fee for miners is a lot not sure how they can charge 1 % if the network fee's are so expensive.

Whitelisting fee could work it depends on what you charge. Most services are taking 1% or less, they don't always have cash or will use stablecoins instead. 0.3-0.7% is what I'm used to.

Thanks for the feedback! I figured a whitelisting fee would be a great way to go about it.  1% or less makes sense. Do you get the cash basically instantly? Like this would push out to Venmo.
