it would be interesting if there's a bitcoin police service in bitcoin. lol

There is, its called "bitcoin police"

you guys need to lurk more...

Man, if the bitcoin police actually solved this case, brought pirate to justice, and returned all the coins.. they would be applauded as heros for aeons.

...return the coins?  I never heard of anyone giving buried treasure back to the pirate's victims.

Let's assume that pirateat40 indeed ran away.
So could theymos provide relative info to locate pirate?

All of his logging(register) IP addresses with corresponding time
All of his user-agent with corresponding time
All of his post history including original version of edited posts and deleted posts
All of his pm history including original version of deleted pm
All of his hashed passwords
All of his email address

And in what condition will admin provide such info? When most forum member agrees he is a scammer or after a Subpoena?

You want Theymos to make this public or send it to the police? I highly doubt he will make it public due to the number of people who would want to kill him.

I take that back... Theymos seems to be willing to make stuff public. I'm shocked.

Pirate posted my photo already. I can tell you what cut of meat he ordered if that helps...
Your photo? I mean his photo.

Have you not seen the group photo of the Vegas trip? That was my photo that he posted. We are both in it... He is the one in the eye patch and I'm the one with horns.

You are the guy giving everyone the finger  Tongue

Cockmeat ?

Have the cops been called on someone over bitcoins? Has anything ever been done for bitcoins by any government identity? (a positive one)

Yep. That's a question too.
Oh, and you went to Vegas to meet pirate right?  Can you provide photo, description or any other evidence if he runs?
